  • Gregory Pemberton
"Golden Gate Park and the Presidio and all the nature and culture they offer are easily walkable. Clement Street specifically, and the area in general, have a wide variety of great restaurants and services, and itโ€™s generally very safe. "
  • Kristin Sherry
"The Very Bestest neighborhood in all of S.F. Very walkable, lots of restaurants and shops and bars and grocery stores."

"Many families, pretty safe, great park access and many playgrounds, good neighborhood schools, fun restaurants, walkable, good public transit."
  • Trulia User
"i love living near golden gate park, itโ€™s a very family friendly neighborhood, a quiet part of the city, beautiful & has everything you need. would be a great place to raise a family"
  • Trulia User
"Farmers market, restaurants, Halloween , parks near by. Festivals, bluegrass festivals, outside lands, de young and academy of science"
  • Trulia User
"I use the Muni busses with the stroller and itโ€™s almost always great. We use Fulton, Sunset and Geary busses the most. They come frequently and usually have room. I donโ€™t like climbing hills with the stroller. "
  • Trulia User
"I love and work here, it's ideal aside from the increase in break-ins from the homeless and addicted. "
  • Trulia User
"I've lived in this neighborhood for almost 12 years and really love it. it's quiet, clean and safe, and has amazing architecture. there are so many great things about the inner Richmond."
  • Trulia User
"We are minutes away from nature and the library... with lots of great restaurants and cafes around the neighborhood."
  • Trulia User
"Lots of nature and wild life. Great hikes and beach access. Great for biking but prefer a car to get around rest of city. "
  • Trulia User
"Great green space and walkable corridors. You can walk to the beach or the science Academy and there are a ton of great restaurants!"
  • Trulia User
"I live here for 10 years and it is getting worse it had a lot of potential but very high maintenance "
  • Trulia User
"Lots of other dogs and friendly neighbors to chat with while out for walks. Many restaurants and cafes have dog bowls put out for pups passing by. Close to the beach for a good run too โ˜บ๏ธ"
  • Kate.mcgregor
"The #5 bus time along Fulton and is a great alternative to walking to the beach. It also gets you downtown in 45-60 minutes. The #28 bus runs north/south and heads north to the Golden Gate Bridge, then the Marina, or south to Colma/Daly City."
  • Zach
"Good walks for a winter day and always curb your dog no matter what. Always keep on a leash. Good to be closed to the park for long dog ventures."
  • Shannot73
"Great off leash options at Mountain Lake, Rossi Park and Golden Gate Park, all within easy flat walking distance. Lots of dogs in the neighborhood. "
  • Pavan K. K.
"Clement street, nearby balboa and geary has tons of food options. this is a great place to walk as it is in middle of presidio and golden gate park. both are accessible by 20mins walk"
  • Dorsaf M.
"I have no idea since I donโ€™t have a dog. Or any pet really. But what I see is that most dog owners donโ€™t pick up after their pets. And the streets are filled with trash and feces. Also a huge plague is the homeless. Itโ€™s out of control."
  • Ausatang1
"Iโ€™ve lived here for 20 years. Great neighborhood with friendly people. Great restaurants and easy to get around. "
  • Lauren H.
"There are 3 different express buses all within 2-5 blocks that I can take to FIDI. This is very convenient. "
  • Mike T.
"Itโ€™s part of Sf but it doesnโ€™t feel like youโ€™re in the city. Lots of convenient shops and little places to eat, grab a coffee, or meet up with friends for a cocktail. Itโ€™s very diverse. "
  • Ben P.
"Quiet residential, decent restaurants in the area. The best benefit is being so close to golden gate park."
  • Trulia User
"please be careful crossing streets. Fulton, Geary, Park Presidio are busy. Lots of distracted Uber and Lyft drivers."
  • Shannot73
"I commute by car to Marin county for work. Easy reverse commute. Very little traffic, predictable time "
  • Clint B.
"The area has felt safe since I moved here 6 years ago, but there are more homeless people in the neighborhood over the last few months."
  • Joohyung H.
"It s diverse. Many local shops and groceries around. Lots of restaurants ranging from authentic local Asian food to fancy french restaurant "
  • Paulo D.
"Lots of families and restaurants. Close to Golden Gate Park. easy transit to downtown. Clean and quiet residential areas, bustling retail corridors. "
  • Eliote D.
"Goldengate Park has numerous community events that make this neighborhood special. Biking and community grocery stores enhance the neighborhood."
  • Dslough25
"Great access to public transportation or within walking distance. Near main streets so getting downtown is fairly easy."
  • Dslough25
"Skating in the park Museums Restaurants Farmers market Easy access to public transportation Driving distance to beach Playgrounds "
  • Jason.rosha
"I can think of no other neighborhood in no other metropolitan city that comes close to the Richmond district and Sea Cliff for dogs and their owners. The Richmond District is saddled by two huge expansive parks- Golden Gate Park and the Presidio. Both of which have lakes and dog runs, and a few wildish animals to chase. If you have automobile transportation, you can cross the golden gate bridge and go into marin or the headlands for runs and views."
  • Tcarpenterdesign
"Itโ€™s relatively quiet, especially compared to the city. Lots of long time spots, as well as some nice new additions."
  • Dcsfca
"Nice neighborhood but lies in the fog belt. Very cool in summer too. They never extended the train here so mostly the 31 and 38 bus connect with downtown"
  • Kazaru927
"there are many dog owners in the neighborhood and I think it's a really friendly place for pets and families. "
  • Ryan
"Clement street Sunday farmers market, and the general bustle around that street. Local pubs are generally super friendly great for meeting other locals. "
  • Eliote D.
"There are many dogs. Neighbors seem receptive to them. The park is close by so thatโ€™s an additional bonus. My pug is very happy living here. "
  • Louie B.
"A lot of shops and restaurants are walking distance or easy to drive to. The farmers' market every Sunday is a fun place to shop for organic foods."
