About this House

Enter this luxurious loft through two secure doors with original architectural design elements by Tanner Leddy Maytum Stacy 1994. The facade is adorned with gorgeous Sam Flores murals - placing it distinctly in the center of the Lower Haight, both geographically and stylistically.

Enjoy the best of San Francisco, in a beautiful quiet loft in the heart of San Francisco.

The space:
Seeking conscientious, considerate, non-smokers who care for the homes they stay in.

Comes Furnished or Not:
Equipped with brand new bamboo floors, contemporary Italian furniture, and modern appliances, this loft makes city living easy and relaxing. Not a drafty old Victorian, the property is impeccably maintained with double-pained windows.

The kitchen comes with brand new KitchenAid refrigerator and dishwasher, a microwave, a gas stove, a glass tile backsplash, and a leather honed black granite counter. The galley kitchen opens to the contemporary living room with soaring 15 foots ceilings.

The queen bed has a top-of-the-line mattress and a goose down comforter. The fold down couch in the living room is very comfortable for a single person or couple. Enjoy the convenience of a spacious closet. The modern bathroom has a full tub, a rain shower, Toto elements, Walker Zanger tile and a Calacatta marble counter.

Full of green healthy plants and pleasing architectural design elements.

Remarkably quiet - especially for being in the center of the city. Waken to the sound of birds in the tree outside the window. Gaze upon the city from the bedroom loft. Sit in the sun on the huge deck. Not over stuffed, this loft is excellent for stretching, meditating, or reading in the sun of the South facing windows.

Upstairs from an abundance of fabulous San Francisco restaurants - the best Indian, Ethiopian, French, and Californian Cuisine around. Centrally located in a great walking neighborhood. Walk to the Castro, Upper Haight, Hayes Valley, Lower Pacific Heights, and the Mission. Within a ten minute walk to Golden Gate Park (the Botanical Gardens, The De Young Museum, and the California Academy of Sciences) and upstairs from multiple sources of public transportation.

A 24 hour Safeway is three blocks away and a Whole Foods next to that. Original boutiques and cafes line the street, showing you the unique elements of San Francisco rather than chain stores of other neighborhoods.

Enjoy the best of San Francisco, in a beautiful quiet loft in the heart of San Francisco.

Owner pays for trash, sewer, 1GB internet, and water. Tenant responsible for gas, electric, and the bi-monthly cleaning person.

"I donโ€™t leave in the mission but itโ€™s a30 min walk and itโ€™s always nice. Except the mission at that street is alway dirty "
  • Shelly S.
"Near a dog park. Pet supply store too. Lots of dog owners. Whatโ€™s not to like? Cannot have them off leash until the park. "
  • John B.
"Quick access to market st for muni or bike routes downtown, easy commute. Easy access to the freeway as well"
  • Kristin R.
"Much cleaner/quieter than Upper Haight, but still a lot of dive bars & a younger scene with some families & older folks. More diverse than most areas which is refreshing. Cole Valley is more of the โ€œyuppieโ€™ family area if youโ€™re looking for cleaner streets, very safe & kid friendly restaurants/streets to bike on etc."
  • Belen
"N Judah takes me 30 minutes to get to my downtown office. Pretty fast if you start early enough. Slows down if you go closer to 9AM"
  • Jamilawrence
"Duboce park, awesome Halloween on Haight street, art walks, music nights in various cafes, dog parades."
  • Jill W.
"Thereโ€™s a dog park close by, Duboce Park, and the Panhandle is a short walk away. There are also a few cafes with sidewalk seating thatโ€™s dog friendly. "
  • Jill
"Residential feel while still being close to restaurants, Market and transit. Great, central location "
  • Kyle S.
"Down to earth people and dog park. Plenty to walk to and centrally located. Highly recommend living in this area"
  • Charles G.
"There are community events at nearby Duboce Park and Harvey Milk Center, such as art exhibits and the Dogfest fair. "
  • Charles G.
"Great dog park nearby and friendly neighbors, but close to fun restaurants in Lower Haight. Not the greatest public transit though"
  • Yunna C.
"Obviously there are Duboce dog park and Alamo square around, so many people bring their dogs around and so nice each other Such a great neighborhood to have a dog"
  • sfpropertyrent
"I have lived in Hayes Valley for more than 10 years and its great. Its really the center of San Francisco. Check it out for yourself!!!!"
  • sfpropertyrent
"One of the best places to live in San Francisco due to its proximity to MUNI and the freeways. Shopping is so close and the diversity of the people make up a new mixture of mission-castro-nobhill. We call if very liveable......"
  • trulia
"I've lived in lower haight since 2002 and it started out hip and cool and has just continued to get more interesting, and fun to live in. It has a great mixture of nightlife, cafes, parks, beautiful housing, great transit, a gregarious stream of bicycles along the wiggle and a good mixture of inner urban singles, dog owners, and familes. Check out haighteration if you want a blow by blow description, but I couldn't recommend any other part of the city more highly. It's geographically centered with easy freeway access, a the pan handle if you want to bike to golden gate park, or walking distance to castro, church, hayes valley. Wouldn't live anywhere else."
