"Itโ€™s not bad thereโ€™s many ways to get to a destination and I like that. The commute to downtown Minneapolis and Saint Paul are around the same actually Minneapolis is longer but I enjoy the time spend to do what I want."
  • Trulia User
"cathedral Hill near summit Hill has excellent transportation mini dog walkers combination of homeowners and homes converted to apartments tree field streets and lanterns and tons of restaurants coffee shops and unique retail shops "
  • Trulia User

  • Demetric D.
"Big open areas for dogs to run. Lots of dogs around however, might not be friendly towards each other. "
  • Dan H.
"Easy. Opposite way of traffic all the time. When Iโ€™m going to the suburbs for work everyone if coming to the city. When Iโ€™m coming home everyone is going to the subs. Itโ€™s great!"
  • Trulia User
"Easy commute to anywhere from here - bus, car, bike, or walk - all good. Close to 94 and 35, bus on Grand"
  • Destinee B.
"they would like it because it's dog friendly but they tend to discriminate against particular breeds of dogs. "
  • Erinooolz
"Wonderful neighborhood to live in. I have lived here for three years and enjoy the laid back community feel. easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants and several grocery stores. I can do all my living and working within a 2.5 mile radius from this neighborhood!"
  • Ellen A
"I work a mile from home and can walk or drive, depending on the weather. There is plenty of parking. "
  • B
"This is a nice place to live. I enjoy the neighborhood. Iโ€™ve lived here over a year now and itโ€™s been great. "
  • Suki A.
"There are many, many dog owners in my neighborhood and I rarely see dog poop, do they seem to be responsible about picking it up. Several dog owners bring their dogs over to the school yard to play fetch but are always in verbal control of their dog."
  • Franciabarbosa
"Iโ€™ve lived in the neighborhood for the last 7 years and it just keeps getting better. There are a few properties and property owners who are problematic, but there are fewer each year."
  • 1975shunter
"The old trees and the grand buildings make it beautiful and the presence of a college makes for a diverse population. "
  • Sonika T.
"I lived in this area for 38 year's and I love it. I love how safe... quiet and clean my neighborhood is. "
  • elizabethjensen23
"Have lived here for a year and we love the street, neighbors and being able to walk to Grand for dinner and shopping. "
  • Jim L.
"6 blocks to Summit Ave & Grand Ave + 8-9 blocks to Cathedral Hill make this an area with lots to do. The area has arguably the best public schools in the city, perhaps even the Twin Cities & still has awesome old homes oozing with character at bargain prices. This area was bad news at one time but has now been gentrified. Take crime stats for Summit-U with a grain of salt as 80% of the crime happens in the 20% of Summit-U North of interstate 94, which is it's own separate world. Subtract that crime ridden area (again, separated by the freeway) & you have a neighborhood full of affordable classic homes for families, awesome parks, A-1 schools, easy freeway access, right in the heart of St Paul's trendiest shopping/food districts, only a mile or so from downtown St Paul & just a short jump on I94 to downtown Mpls."
