Room Description
I'm renting the upstairs spare bedroom in my house. It's a large room with hardwood floors and a spacious walk in closet. It has its own full bathroom with a tub. The renter would have access to the shared living space, kitchen, washer/dryer, and dining room, and outside areas. There is a fenced in backyard.
The house is within walking distance of the Village shopping center, Patterson and Libbie, Libbie and Grove, and is close to St. Mary's hospital, with highway access close by as well.
I'm a teacher who lives upstairs. I have 3 cats. No pets or children please. When I am home, I'm usually working, running, or doing yard work. I'm a neat person in the home, so I'm looking for someone who is also respectful and neat.
I'm looking for a roommate who is young professional, female, quiet, clean, considerate, and one who is ok with cats. $1050 rent which includes utilities. $1050 security deposit
I'm open to a traveling nurse, work professional who is here on business for weekdays, or to a 3 month, 6 month, or 9 month lease.
The room is available starting 9/12/26.
No smoking allowed. No pets. Parking is street parking.

Rent is due on the first of each month. If rent is over 5 days late, there will be a late fee of $40 per day. Renter gives owner 1 month security deposit upon signing of the lease. The security deposit will be returned within 45 days after the tenant's lease ends minus any itemized deductions needed for repairs needed outside of normal wear and tear of the room/common areas.
Owner is open to a traveling nurse, work professional who is here on business for weekdays, or to a 3 month, 6 month, or 9 month lease.
Tenant will have renter's insurance. Tenant or guests will not use or have illegal drugs on the property. Tenant will keep all prescribed drugs in appropriate closed containers. Tenant and guests will not vape or smoke on the property. Use of marijuana or other drugs will not be used on the property. Tenant and guests can drink alcohol, though tenant and guests will not use alcohol to the point of being unruly.
Tenant cannot sublease the room. Tenant will give 60 days notice to terminate the lease. If the lease is terminated before the end of the lease, tenant will be required to give 60 days notice and 2 months rent.
The tenant is responsible for keeping her room in a livable condition. The tenant is responsible for telling the landlord if anything is broken/needs to be repaired. The tenant is responsible for cleaning up after herself in
shared areas such as, but not limited to, the living area, kitchen, common bathroom, laundry room.
