"I see dogs being walked all the time. As far as I know people pick up after their dogs all the time. I’ve never found dog Pooh in my yard. "
  • C.demo10120
"No public transportation here. Drivers will join carpooling groups. Traffic is bad throughout the day and night. Main thoroughfares are limited in number and just two lanes. "
  • Tiffany Ross
"Seems overcrowded lately. Love living in the area. Safe and friendly neighbors. Overall isn’t a bad place! "
  • C.demo10120
"Like many places, if you have a barking dog outside you will receive multiple complaints in this neighborhood. Dogs are not allowed to be left outside in the backyard except to go out to do their business. "
  • Maggie Valladares
"Love it great place to grow family just cold winters, hot summers. The weather is a little bipolar. Great cost-of-living."

  • Trulia User
"Police in and out all the time. Trashy the water gets shut off in the whole neighborhood all the time they don’t make the trailers correctly making them fall apart sooo fast."
  • Trulia User
"I have three pups and living in this area has proven to be great for them. Just pick up your dog poop please…………………………"
  • Cindy F.
"It's awesome but has become ridiculous in price. there is no public transit . there's no safe walkway to the closest grocery store but you in the route of a lot of traffic especially if you're biking, or using a wheelchair or other device. there's not enough sidewalks south of prairie Crossing we have the abandoned not abandoned vacant Marsh grocery store that needs something to be done with it. most of the people in our community well at least have walk and they don't have cars and to cross the street over 135 and either way is dangerous and there's been pedestrian accidents. the traffic has become insane it's very noisy especially on weekends particularly on Sundays if your windows are open you can't hear nothing in your apartment people drag racing. "
  • Jaylen S.
"Really easy to get around the city and town of greenwood Indiana. By bike and of by vehicle. Buses are seen but not to common "
  • Lzlobic1316

"Great trick or treating neighborhood. Lots of 4th of July Fireworks love the cultural diversity here"
  • Breze21c
"Lots of Family’s and family Activities to do in an around Greenwood. Active community and support from your neighbors. "
  • Jwagg714
"A lot of people walk their dogs and don’t pick up after them. This is a nice little neighborhood to walk your dog."
  • Camryn B.
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for three years and so far it hasn’t been bad. The only issue I have is other people believe their dog is a higher priority than mine. Hence, I am not allowed to let my dog go #2 in their yard because their dog only goes there because they do not walk their dogs. They let them out to poop and immediately come back into their trailer. The don’t even pickup after their dogs! But my dog is not allowed to go to the bathroom in the yard they rent and I pick it up! Also note there are several stray cats and the smell of urine is horrible. "
  • Jenn H.
"I drive my own vehicle to and from work. Public transit is nearly non-existent here. There are bus stops, but this is a somewhat rural area where that wouldn't be feasible. "
  • Lisa M.
"in or around Greenwood on my life and I love it but don't really care for the Greenwood Police Department they're not very friendly"
  • Laura C.
"Everything is close by. Commute to work is short. Schools, shopping and restaurants are all nearby. "
  • Rhapsody5683
"Just very homey. 5 different parks with large walking trails. Playgrounds are frequent and we of course have the classic ice cream trail."
  • Hailey R.
"not sure i dont drive i mostly walk everywhere or ride a bike the area is nice though its low crime for the most part lots of restarants amd shopping and entertainment not too far from Indianapolis and overall pleasent place to live with good friendly people. i enjoy living here and hope to live here for a while. i moved here from pa and love the low amount of snow compared to the poconos and buffalo in upstate ny. this is a nive place so i hope youll like it too"
  • Megabwhitlow
"I’ve lived here when I was growing up and I have never had a bad experience. To me, it’s the typical “American neighborhood” you see on television shows. It’s where I want my children growing up"
  • Linda D. W.
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 13 years and people have come and gone for the worse! Neighbors are not friendly and very much rude!!"
  • Tommy K.
"It is a fun place to live that has nice people and lots to do. It’s also close to downtown indianapolis."
  • Alexkelso123
"we have 2 annual community sales. we live very close to a few popular parks. one with a free splash pad, perfect for the kiddos! also Craig Park has events all the time for the community! they hold huge 4th of july events!"
  • Melissacox1
"There are many events in old town, lots of local craft beer places and a water park. It is a great place for visiting the parks for picnics or the farmers market. The mall is also a popular place to go and in the summer it also has local bands that play. "
  • Kelley W.
"Greenwood is a family-friendly city that is truly a suburban lifestyle. A great city to raise a family. Lots of parks and recreation areas. "
  • Amy C.
"I grew up in my current neighborhood. Moved to the west side of town because it was cheaper. Bug mistake. I moved back as soon as possible It's quiet here. The neighbors keep their homes and lawns nice. Very low crime. Worst thing we've experienced was change missing from the cup holder. The old saying "you get what you pay for" comes to mind. "
  • Karen
"Decent and safe area but close to busy streets if you live right off smith valley. People speed very often on smith valley so it makes me nervous with animals and children, especially with the semi trucks. "
  • long time resident
"Center grove schools are tiresome to deal with. Especially with having 3 boys! The administration is horrid and the community is a little peyton placw"
  • Pghines
"There are lots of families & children in the neighborhood, great schools & churches, nearby parks & walking trail."
  • Brianna D.
"nice neighbors and great houses. Willing to help out with anything which is awesome and makes for an amazing community."
