About this House

TONS of potential in this ''Fixer Upper'' and/or ''Handy Man Special''! Not only is it near Cox North, Historic C-Street and just North of Drury University, it's located in the Missouri Opportunity Zone! This is the exact kind of property ''Bigger Pockets'' advises investors to target when making the move from single family rentals to smaller multi-family properties. It's self sufficient and sustainable as it is, but there's a lot of possible upside to reduce expenses and increase rents with improvements and potential to have it separately metered to have all residents pay their own utilities. (Currently LL pays the CU bill for the house). This is an old property in need of some TLC and updates, but has a newer roof on the main building, updated electrical and good bones. Ample parking for residents as well. With this property being within walking distance of Cox North and Commercial Street, one of the units may do well as an Aribnb too! Owner is agent.
622-624 E Division St, Springfield, MO 65803 is a studio multi-family in Midtown, built in 1900. It is currently off market. The Trulia Estimate is $137,600, with a rent estimate of $1,003/month.

"Historic area houses are all very neat and clean. Craftsman style. Nice neighborhood. I’m ready to move in I’m hopeful it’s still available. "
  • Trulia User
"Dogs welcome and neighborhood is friendly. Very historic and a lot of people have lived here their whole lives. Convenient for shopping and the elementary school is new. "

"There are a lot of families living in the area and some nice parks. Commercial Street is really nice and beautiful historic buildings line the street. However there is a lot of homelessness in the area as well."

  • Beth S.
"there is way to much crime and violence around this neighbor. I would never suggest any one with kids be apart of this trash"
  • Alyssa R. M.
"I’ve heard a lot of gunshots and someone attempted to break into my house in the middle of the day. The neighbors seem to be nice."

"I've lived here for a year. Some neighbors like to party with music but usually end by 11pm. Not a bad place. Also close to Drury University, beautiful houses."
  • Nolina244
"I've lived in this neighborhood for eight years and it hasn't changed much. they've reconstructed some things in the area and they have also discontinued some things like the homeless shelter at the Missouri Motel."
  • alr464
"I have lived in Midtown's Historic District for 15 years and my husband has lived in this neighborhood for over 22 years. The schools are the best in Springfield! They are the only International Baccalaureate school in the city for gifted students. Beautiful historic neighborhood with an active neighborhood association that is close to public parks and pools, shopping, night life, restaurants, cafes, theatres, etc..."
  • alr464
"Have lived here for 12 years and I love the Midtown neighborhood."
