7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is phenomenal. We are so fortunate to go here. Our daughter loves school, has made wonderful friends. From the first week the teachers all seem to know every child by name. Students are greeted each morning with an all-school assembly with drumming, singing, a welcome message by the Principal, and the school rock band rocking out. Its a fantastic way to start the day! "seems like a pretty nice area lots of big brick houses and people out and about walking there dogs. just seems like a fairly safe area people seem pretty friendly as far as I can tell. I'm just here for work but if I was from the Pittsburgh area I would probably look in this area to live at least see what's available. "

"i worked in squirrel hill the last 3 to 4 years. good transit options plenty of stores to shop at & places to eat its diverse in its culture & ppl flat land in some areas hilly in other parts close to highway & close to Oakland and downtown. 2 parks to!"

"Shady Ave is a great area to live. Neighborhood is very nice - quiet, pretty landscapes - with friendly people. Frick park is in walking distance. Very good bus routes to Waterfront, Oakland and Downtown. I rent an apartment for on Shady Ave for two years now. "
