"PH is a great diverse community. This is one of the reason we moved here. So that our kids would be able to have friends of many different backgrounds. PH has quite a few neighborhoods, all with their own unique feel. We’ve been here as homeowners for 14 yrs. Lots of wildlife in the yard, turkeys, deer, fox, hawks, falcons, and yes, even coyotes (they keep to themselves) and a ZILLION LIGHTNING BUGS!!! We absolutely love our neighbors and our quiet street. "

"Short , I live and work in the 15157 zip code. Technically, I live in Penn Hills, but am closer to the Verona business district. I’ve been here for over 15 years and have had very good experiences "

"This is a friendly, safe, mostly quiet neighborhood. I often see kids riding bikes around when the weather is nice. And there is a local private pool that is great for families to join."

"I live on a quiet street. I feel safe here. Every once in awhile you have some kids that go through the cars on the street but as long as your locking your car door at night, it’s not a problem. "
