5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI could not think of a better place for my kid than PS 32. There is so much individualized attention provided that I truly feel like we're in a private school without paying tuition! The teachers are phenomenal. My kid is in a Kindergarten class this year (NOT G&T), and I'm consistently blown away by how the teachers get him excited for reading & writing (he and his classmates are far ahead of others in "more desirable" neighborhood schools; he is fluently reading chapter books) and math. I wish I learned math the way he is learning it at 32 (on a recent snow day zoom, he created a two-step formula to make the number 9....). He loves dance, music, art, gardening, science, gym and library that he gets as part of his school day and has connected with all of these specialty teachers. He Kindergarten is also learning chess. I truly can't say enough wonderful things about this school.Parent Review3w ago - Brooklyn High School of the Arts

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has provided me with a good sum of experience and knowledge I've deemed valuable so far. Considering I'm a Sophmore at the moment, I've still got a way to go until I can create a fully versed and concise opinion on the school, though I will say my experience with the school has been generally positive overall. The teachers are professional and respectful both inside and outside a current lesson, allowing for an environment where I can learn efficiently, while also being able to enjoy my time at school without unnecessary work pressure added onto my shoulders. The teachers act as actual mentors rather than something less than standard.Fights are broken up relatively quickly, and it's never difficult to reach out to administration or teachers in the event of an issue. The clubs are alright, but certain ones demand a heavy amount of time, taking away a bit of accessibility I wish I had otherwise.Student Review1y ago - The Math And Science Exploratory School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat community and all, and the counselor is one of the best, but the accusations against me were terrible, as you cant have privacy and some of the teachers were extremely rude and just held outright grudges against students. In fact, one teacher almost ruined my future through an accusation, and she clearly had some kind of problem with me? Even though I’m a pretty innocent and nice kid. Overall, unless you want your future ruined, and face terrible teachers, choose a different school. I’m glad I’ll be out of there in a month, when summer starts.Student Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 569 Union St.
