"The day we moved in we were met by a group of children ages 12-15 about 4or 5 of them. They had put together a folder that said welcome to our neighborhood. They showed my son around introduced him to all the other kids. Our house sat vacant as a foreclosure for over 1/2 a year and had no vandalism to it. The area is located near EVERYTHING (malls, shopping, parks, bus routes, service stations, etc) I don't have to drive far to get to anything I need. At night it is quiet and I have been told by many contractors who are helping us remodel that neighbors have gone out of their way to let them see they are being watched. In todays world it is nice to have neighbors who keep their eyes open and have your back. The one complaint I do have is that tagging and grafitti on commercial buildings and signs is happening. Sure wish the police could keep a better eye on things because it makes a otherwise decent neighborhood have a bad reputation. "
