Great diversity. Highly qualified teachers. Staff permanent with only a few long term subs. Test scores in line with rest of district. I work here & confidently bring my kids to Roberts/ Naylor.

Posted by a community member on 1/12/2015Many positive changes continue to happen at Roberts Naylor! Low class sizes and innovative teachers are helping to improve this school. All classrooms have interactive whiteboards and document cameras! Four computer labs also help facilitate 21st century learning at this school.

Posted by a parent on 8/7/2013Bye no means this is a great school.. This is one of the worst school's you can send your childrent to. I do see improvement but it's still a long process. Constantly changing teachers and staff. I would think twice before you put your child at this school.

Mr. Schiavone is an amazing principal, and the dean of students, Ms. Dierksen, is also very on point, and they work wonders with the kids. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI enrolled both of my children at this school—my son attended from kindergarten through 5th grade, and my daughter from kindergarten through 2nd. Over the years, I’ve observed a steady decline in the overall quality of the school experience.One of the most concerning issues has been the lack of priest involvement and transparency regarding how funds are allocated between the church and the school. It often feels as though the school receives minimal resources while the church absorbs the majority of the funding.There is also a high turnover rate among both students and staff, which creates instability and affects the school environment. Morale among parents and teachers has noticeably diminished, and there is little to no enrichment offered—field trips, for example, have been nonexistent. Communication between staff and families has been inconsistent, and academic recognition has seemed generic and unearned, with many students receiving the same awards without clear criteria.Additionally, simple but important maintenance issues, such as changing drinking fountain filters, have gone unaddressed. These oversights suggest poor financial management, whether the school is funded through scholarships or tuition.While I truly wanted to support this school and see it succeed, I cannot in good conscience recommend it. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI see kids excelling and teachers and staff that care. They have a paraprofessional and guidance counselor on site and off site tutors that come during the week. Parents and teachers seem to be equally invested in children. The families are nice and they seem happy with their children's success. I've noticed my children have better conflict resolution skills. They look forward to going to school and the various events that happen throughout the year. I was a little worried about combined grade classrooms but I see how it has benefited students. The small class sizes allow additional help or additional challenging work when needed. I can appreciate their approach to discipline. The price point is very reasonable with the many options to cover tuition and they take DES.Parent Review1mo ago
