They also lost a large number of quality teachers over the summer and I see they now have a posting for a new AP. As a parent of a Doby child I'm very concerned for how the school year is evolving and hope significant improvements are made throughout the year. My oldest daughter graduated from Lennard a few years ago and is getting ready to graduate college this fall with a degree in education. My youngest daughter is currently at Lennard in their collegiate program and is currently taking mostly honors, AP, and college courses. The collegiate program is great... there's no cost for the parents and if the student follows through, they'll graduate with an associate degree along with their high school diploma. The arts and agriculture departments are really good for students interested in these programs. "I've lived here since 1987 and it is much cleaner and a safer community compared to surrounding towns. It is also a good place to raise kids. Residents here take pride in their way of living and overall it shows. Real estate is too high here though. It is a great place to live. Also very low crime activity, that I know of. "
