    "Nice little community"

"For being so far south, commuting is easy because I can either take the 5 or go through Coronado. Palm Ave can really be annoying with all of the lights but it’s manageable "
  • Mainvestments.619
"We need bumps in 13th Street from Imperial Beach Street to the naval base. The street looks like a high way"
  • Socialite
"The estuary’s often overlooked trails are a great place to contemplate life, commune with nature or get a little exercise "
  • Kalli
"It has really been up and coming, they’ve added and lot of new restaurants and people are very friendly. It is not over crowded or overwhelming and is a beautiful beach town."
  • Miss Yoli
"There’s plenty of buses passing by but half the time they are all empty… Maybe lower rates or something to have more people carpool or take the bus?! "
  • Yoli Alexis Sanabia
"I live on Seacoast so we get to see all the parades that go on, if there’s car shows, or any activities that they shut the street down, we see it all, and I love it "
  • Mainvestments.619
"If you live in a house or in an apartment and you have one or more cars, is really hard to find a parking spot in this apartments areas is hard to find a parking spot on the street "
  • Trulia User
"many different schools for young chikdren and good parks to play and get the needed exercise of our youth. "
  • Pattipatricialopez
"it's a family friendly environment and yet it's also a tourist destination so keep a good eye on your children. Never let your guard down. "
  • Danny G.
"IB is great in many ways. There is no large corporate or chain businesses other than 7-11, no buildings allowed higher than 3-story, much of the beach area houses were built in the 50’s and 60’s. Many are now remodeled and nice. The IB pier is quite beautiful with regular fishermen, surfers and people walking. "
  • Cherie G.
"It’s small town feel next to the big city makes it easy to go from quite activities to busy activities. "
  • Maria B.
"Great vacation spot quiet clean great heavys and restaurants not crowded we visit several times a year "
  • Victoria J.
"The dogs here are well trained and they are dogs are in apartments too. Dog owners like it here a lot."
  • Emilyrjames10
"The neighborhood is under construction but is coming along and looking nice, can’t wait for it to be done. Family restaurants are great. "
  • Maria A.
"peaceful , safe and friendly ... close to freeway. bus transit close by .... most of all the beach "
  • Miguel A.
"Roads are getting improvement but the beach is always contaminated, the traffic is getting worse because they are building too many apartments"
  • Caroline M.
"I drive to and from work 30 mins a day. Traffic can be bad if you’re going southbound to Coronado sometimes. But not a bad area. "
  • Miguel A.
"Imperial Beach is known for the pier and that connection to Coronado island ,now we have breweries in new restaurants"
  • Richard.mills
"The beach has great amenities, quiet small town atmosphere. Nice small parks nearby and the estuary has walking trails with plenty of bird watching."
  • Miguel A.
"A noisy neighborhood I am too close to the military base and there’s always big noise The good thing I’m really close to the beach and that’s the fun part"
  • Daisy C.
"There are many families in the hood with great parks, but there aren't many parks that could be walking distance. "
  • Daisy C.
"ppl walk their dogs anytime & they're actually plenty of other dog owners in town. Although this area is hard to find dog friendly rentals to live in. "
  • Cali F.
"i've been living in I.B for 6 years and i love my neighborhood. The only irritating are those loud motorcycles."

"Very good neighborhood. We have been over here for a little bit over 4 years and we love the area. Safe, good schools, nice area. Is not like that expensive like the most part of the people think. "
  • Daisy C.
"IB is a small beach community where people know each other. Although, IB has changed a lot in the past 5 years. "
  • Zachary A. R. W.
"Everyone has dogs. Lots of people walk their dogs. Somethings can get noisy and sometimes owners don’t always pick up poop"
  • Briceamelvin
"The Tijuana estuary is constantly filled with sewage with causes beach closures. Pretty lame. Other than that, IB is cool. Traffic is minimal and people are pleasant "
  • Joy D.
"Since the bayside bike trail is so close, there are lots of dog walkers at any time of the day. Just beware that the trail gets congested with large cycling groups, especially on the weekends."
  • Lacey N.
"I love how this community is up and coming. Buildings and businesses getting a facelift, homes being renovated, and parks being updated! The community as a whole is awesome. "
