Our churches are very community oriented. Burbank has a good farmers market. Our schools are exceptional. Libraries are friendly, helpful and offer services to help people in the community "
  • Katherine Swanson

  • Luvskye03
"The commute is pretty easy. A little congestion during the rush hour times but any time past 9pm there is little to no traffic "

  • Trulia User
"The thing that makes this community is the actual sense of community which is hard to come by in LA County. I think people feel this and strive to meet those ends "
  • Trulia User
"Ummm there are film studios near by and ummmm a lot of Armenian pride. It’s safer I guess than some other LA area neighborhoods. It’s kinda central to lots of other areas. "
  • Trulia User
"It’s old school Los Angeles. It’s not to modern, but it’s also a fan of its history. Burbank is better suited than noho."
  • Trulia User
"I've lived in this neighborhood for almost 5 years and all of my neighbors have been super friendly. It appears to be safer than other areas of LA and it's extremely dog friendly. I always see a lot of people walking their dogs when I'm walking my dog"
  • Trulia User
"Everything all in one place! You have your restaurants, bars, movie theatre, grocery stores, baseball fields and so much more."
  • Trulia User
"The neighborhood is extremely dog friendly. I always see people walking there dogs in the mornings and evenings. There are a couple of parks near by that are dog friendly. Then only problem is being out to look late and the coyotes are around. Everyone with a small dog knows not to leave them outside and also don't take them out for late night walks."
  • Trulia User
"Commute in the morning is fairly good. Commute in the afternoon/evening can be a hassle due to an abundance amount of traffic. "
  • Trulia User
"Nothing. It’s overcrowded. There are too many apartments and no parking. The neighbors speed up and down the streets and alleys. "
  • Trulia User
"John Muir middle school is great and it’s a very sage neighborhood. The center is walking distance. "
  • Trulia User
"Don’t have one - work from home so this does not apply to me. I’m guessing most people are fine since close to 3 freeways 5/ 134/101"
  • Trulia User
"Very clean and nice community. Friendly neighbors. And for the most part people pick up after their pets. "
  • Star C.
"Friendly, clean and safe neighborhood! Close enough to a lot, but still has a suburban-ie feel to it. Plus we have our own water and power company which can be nice. Downtown Burbank is great and has tons of yummy restaurants. Also close to all the major studios so the entertainment and art feel about the whole area is pretty spot on! Great schools too! "
  • Lori S.
"family friendly, pet friendly. Able to walk through neighborhoods safely. Street parking is not good. "
  • Rodney.kurihara
"Summer concert in the park series, Memorial Day events in the park, and neighborhood Christmas decorating contests. Local hiking trails in the mountains. "
  • Bwilliams
"The neighbors know one another and look out for each other. Most people have lived here for many years"
