7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAnchor Bay High School is a terrible high school for a number of reasons. First, the school is overcrowded and understaffed. This results in large class sizes and a lack of individual attention for students. Second, the school has a poor academic reputation. Test scores are low, and students often feel unprepared for college. Third, the school has a history of bullying and discrimination. There have been numerous reports of students being harassed and intimidated, and the school has not done enough to address these issues.Parent Review4mo ago - Lottie M. Schmidt Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI just love when they have the "Santa Secret Shop". I'm a crafter and am so excited to see all those happy children with smiles on their faces. The PTO ladies are very friendly and also helpful to make that day Special. I hope they have this event this year. Maggie barnesOther Review8y ago - Check out schools near 51795 Lillian Rd.

"I’ve lived here for 20 years and grew up here. People are friendly and it’s a Safe place to live, there are not any serious crimes even though it’s a good Size city now. The city has grown to have a good amount of shopping and many popular restaurants right down the street. It is closer to a nice outdoor mall when you need to go to other stores. Schools have been good while my children were there, they all attended Anchor Bay. There are also several close by colleges within commuting distance so you don’t have to pay for dorms. "

"lots of families here so any kid growing up here would have no problem finding other children to be friends with. safe quiet community with quick access to the water and charming towns even if chesterfield itself is fairly bland boilerplate suburbia."

"My commute to work is very long. I work in Troy and I spend at least 2 hours in the car. The winter is the worst though. When it snows it's at least an hour and a half to two hour drive one way. I take 59 and the construction is terrible. Everywhere you go traffic is backed up because they are working in the roads. I would actually love to find a job closer to my home because we do like the area. "

"not great transportation accessible any way off 23 mile rd but there is plant of food and things to do and have a great family atmosphere "
