My daughter was bullied. The principal said “boys will be boys.” When a boy shoved her down and she pushed back he wanted to suspend her. At the end of year the same boys were bullying my daughter and he tried to suspend her again and accused her of lying and said “boys will be boys” and when I reached out to superintendent and dean, they said they have been long time friends and go golfing. He’d never go against what he said! I switched for this reason. It’s disgusting. He must beat his wife since he thinks that’s ok. He is a boy after all.

I have 2 kids here. One in upper elementary and one in lower and we've been lucky enough to have had great teachers throughout. I've preferred some over others, but that would be anywhere! I also wanted to mention that the principal that is mentioned in some older reviews is no longer there. We had a new principal come in, in 2013/2014; also the office staff (that is mentioned below) has changed over as well :) The one improvement that I would really like to see is Technology-but that is across the entire district.

The worst for my ADHD child they didn’t follow his 504 plan at all my son spent everyday being bullied and tormented and punished for his outburst when kids were picking on him! My once excited about school child was no longer excited about school I literally saw the spark in his eye and excitement every morning fading, so needless to say I pulled him from that school as soon as I realized what was happening!

I just love when they have the "Santa Secret Shop". I'm a crafter and am so excited to see all those happy children with smiles on their faces. The PTO ladies are very friendly and also helpful to make that day Special. I hope they have this event this year. Maggie barnes
