"First you’ll need to drive around and check out the community and judge for yourself. Jamestown the city is a small struggle but when you’re in the outer county areas you’ll fall in love. It’s a beautiful place to live, visit and enjoy but when you visit have a open mind and respect our community "
  • Chris C.
"I live in Jamestown, NY this area has nothing for teens or young children to do. Problem with that is it leads to crime in the area. I wouldn't recommend raising children here. "
  • Tawny R.

  • Tawny N.
"Need a car no real bus system cabs take hours and the winters are cold. Most jobs are also outside of the city limits"
  • Asmith
"There is a very busy road Dunham ave and cars go rather fast. There are no stop signs or lights on that road it’s a straight shot from lake to Fairmount Ave."
  • Julia K.
"I have about a 4 minute walk to my workplace and about 5-10 minutes from convenient store. My children walk about 20 minutes to their school "
  • So_beta
"I love it here I’ve never had a bad experience in this area. Even the animals are cute and kind, I do t know what I’d do if the atmosphere here changed even a little"
  • Howard W.
"Nerve racking, school time is the worst. traffic in this city is not enjoyable. and there's nothing worth commuting here to"
  • Hughes508

  • Ashly W.
"The elementary and middle school are the top of Jamestown. It’s a safe neighborhood. We are walking distance to a great park."
  • Kendall H.
"It’s a cheap place to live, but it’s hard to come by places to rent at a reasonable price when you’re a single mom with 4 kids, and everyone in the house if working and you can barely afford to live. "
  • Jessica S.
"All the events downtown. Local businesses and their support of the community by giving back. Gus macker, Lucy fest, farmers market"
  • Kaylaannmarie420
" The only things that makes it ‘unique’ is Lucy ball. Other than that Jamestown is not the best place it’s changed for the worse and it’s sad to say that. "
  • Melodyleeper
"I was born here and after some travel I’ve come home. Now like all small towns industrial area have closed down 😒"
  • Michelle R.
"this neighbor is not unique it's it's trashy and the police are constantly driving up and down and they harrasss people. "
  • Kristin A.
"Older community with younger moving in they are very nice and are helpful and make you feel welcome. "
  • betsya
"Nice clean area, kid friendly, walking distance to two schools, walking distance to churches, low crime area, friendly neighbors, close to doctors, hospital, "
  • ariandouglas
"It is almost impossible to get in and out of your driveway on Martin Road. If you ever need to park on the street you are doing so at a high risk of damage to your vehicle, I live very close to this listing and have experienced nothing but problems with the traffic this road brings since I moved into my home a couple of years ago. Also with the children walking by going to or leaving school, you are sure to find lots of garbage in your front yard left by them, if they do not destroy property in your front yard. consider this before purchasing on this road, there are many other homes available in this general area that are off this main road."
