George Washington Middle School

the staff is great and all...but i dont get the kids have to walk thing...if the weather is bad or if they are sick the school district has the truant officer crawling allover the parents...is a parent suppose to walk a sick child in cool weather just to get him or her to school to just turn around and have them get even sicker or to be taken to the hospital for phenmonia! seriously jamestown get ur stuff straight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My kids have done amazing at this school. I feel this school cares about it's students more than other schools I've dealt with

This school is providing amazing classes and opportunities for the students. Currently, the focus is science and math across the curriculum. Students are attending classes once weekly at JCC, Audubon, or RTPI. These classes are taught by professors and explore topics in math, science, engineering, and technology. The school has invested in GEMS science kits for all ages. Traditional and Montessori classrooms are available to meet more families needs and interest in different learning styles. I am so happy to have my children attend this school. We are blessed to have such a resource in our community. I encourage anyone who has read this far to visit the school to check it out for yourself.
