  • Hd.woody
"The community has excellent schools and a very well put together baseball program. There are also plenty of outdoor community activities several times a year. "
  • Valorie
"It truest does have a small town feel even though we’re located right outside of Las Vegas. It is the best place for raising a family. Quite, friendly, Respectful. I love Boulder City! "
  • Breanna M.
"Like: solitude/environment dislike: straight shot down the street is the highway and coyotes are not scared "
  • Breanna M.
"It’s hard to find a decent paying job in Boulder City so be prepared to have a fuel efficient vehicle to get you to ad from work in the city."
  • Walterthethird
"There is Art in the Park, Wurst Fest, and so many others. There is something going on almost every weekend. Lots of family activities and parades."
  • Will
"Lots of space and options to walk your dog. Summers are too hot for dog walks on sidewalks. No ticks, worms, fleas or misquotes to harass your hairy friend."
  • Walterthethird
"Great schools and neighbors. Lots of nice parks and family friendly events. Good place for kids to be kids."
  • Tl1305@aol.com
"dogs are a big part of people's lives here, lots of pets here and lots of parks to take them to......."
  • NJG
"I've lived in this neighborhood for three+ years and we love it! Reminds me of the small town I grew up in. There are both pros & cons to living here of course, as with anywhere, yet for Boulder City I feel the pros outweigh the con's. Its family/kid friendly & has several beautiful parks, within walking distance. For myself and my young child, its perfect."
  • anonymous
"Not business friendly. In need of a real Downtown Sand volleyball court will add to the town promoting an healthier life style. "
  • Jeanine P.
"People are friendly and polite. Love the small town is clean quiet and lovely places to shop or visit downtown ."
  • Tl1305
"I'm retired. I dont commute anymore, but I used to have to drive to Las Vegas, Nv. It was not bad then and should be great now with the opening of I11"
  • jmklawncare
"older neighborhoods allow for no HOA. plus the maturity brings more of a homey feeling for the landscaping. "
  • Reganstokes80
"I commute to Henderson on weekdays - it’s an easy 20/25 minute drive. There is rarely traffic. Mostly freeway."
  • Reganstokes80
"Raising a child in Boulder city feels like we are raising a child in a environment that we grew up in. Safe. Contained. Community oriented. Quaint. The high school kids play capture the flag around town during summer. That should be a good indication of how most of the Youth behaves. Maybe a little more innocent than Vegas kids. And we like it that way."
  • Darlene r.
"Quiet, streets, neighborhood. Very friendly neighbors. Management is very nice. Stores close. All necessary stores you would need to live here."
  • Walterthethird
"Best town by a dam site. Small town with good people and great community. Close to Las Vegas as well."
  • Brent j.
"no gambling clean and green close to Lake Mead only 30 minutes to Las Vegas strip only 25 minutes to Mccarran airport "
