"there's alot of trees and grassy areas and parks in the neighborhood. there are many veterinarians and places to buy dog supplies. There are many dogs in the area and the neighborhood is friendly. There isn't alot of noise at night so not alot of barking at night. The streets are really wide and all streets are 2 ways so it has to be big streets. The neighborhood is high ground so there isn't alot of dirty or stale water on the street level. Garbage and recycling pick up is very good by the Department of Sanitation so there isn't a bad odor or garbage piled up for more than 2 days."

"I’ve lived here a very long time and for NYC, it’s one of the safest parts of the Borough of Queens. Unfortunately, there are home robberies but that happens everywhere. Common sense and taking minor action greatly decreases the risk. Aside from that, crime is very low and I never felt uneasy, even while walking my dogs at night. The schools are great, stores and public transportation are also easily available. "
