"I really like small town living. I’ve lived here my whole life. It’s a great place to raise a family."
  • April Puckett
"Not too bad unless someone stops in the middle of the road to talk to a passing car or if I get behind someone who doesn’t do the speed limit "
  • Justin Young
"Quiet, country living. Dogs need to be leashed as the main highways make it dangerous to let pets run freely."
  • Justin Young
"It’s a small community with close family ties and many of the amenities of a much larger city. It is within reasonable driving distance to both Lexington, Ky. and Knoxville, Tn."
  • Kaciewilson00
"Pretty normal a few one way streets. Easily stuck in school traffic but overall not that bad. Hospital close by"
  • Jazlaw319
"I live near Laurel Lake. The beauty of living in Corbin is the friendliness, kindness, care and concern that is felt coming from the heart and souls of the people who live here. It would be great to have a stronger work force for young families. Many have "temp" jobs which often traps these young adults forcing them to use a seemingly endless revolving door of "temp" jobs. Since these high rate companies rarely hire new full time employees, these workers Miss out! If we could score some good payed skilled training and labor opportunities here, we'd flourish, no doubt !!! We are a safe community who loves people and enjoys events! šŸŽ”šŸŸšŸŽ¬šŸŽŖ Our schools are renovated and graded A+ . We love our hometown sports too! We are a Christian based community, so we might lend a helping hand, when needed! Our Police Fire Emergency Crews are commendable! I love ā¤ļø my Corbin home šŸ” "

"Beautiful hometown vibe with a growing population. In need of more family owned businesses. Seeing growth near interstate and downtown expansion in progress. "
  • Khousecat76
"No public transportation in our area-own vehicle-we do have cab service in the area-but a car is a necessity unless you want to walk"
  • Shivon S.
"Great area! Very convenient, nice neighborhoods, pet friendly, walkable, great schools."
  • Cat
"Nice level, corner lot. Great, safe area to have family and friends over for picnics. Great scenery.. hills, lots of trees and some horses. Great neighbors. If you have a boat, this is a nice place to be. If you don't, it's just a great place to lay back and enjoy your time off. "
  • Cat
"This is a real nice street and area. Everyone here watches out for each other, but they don't get in everybody's private life. We have a neighborhood watch also. "
  • Cat
"This is a nice, respectable neighborhood. Everyone on this street watches out for each other, without butting into your business. I think this house would be great for a couple or retirees. JMO. Also, there are beautiful Bradford pear trees that line the property out by the road. This is January, 2014. Not sure why the review is showing December of last year."
  • Cat
"This street and surrounding area is a great place to live. The neighbors all care about each other, but nobody butts into your business. Great neighbors, great area. People keep up their homes and property also."
