About this House

Magnificent Manor Park Home with Three-Bedrooms & Two Bonus Rooms, Private Parking, and Manicured Yards. Available in Mid-May!

Do not hesitate to set up a tour of this one-of-a-kind home that offers plenty of charm across three levels, along with great indoor and outdoor amenities. Natural light gleams off hardwood floors and natural wood trim throughout this great abode where space is not in short supply.

A beautifully landscaped front yard with a walk leads up to a covered front porch large enough for patio furniture. As you head inside the foyer, take notice of the beautifully preserved wood accents that compliment great modern features. At the front of the home, a generous living room with a fireplace leads into a window-lined dining space. The kitchen is equipped with high-end stainless-steel appliances, stone countertops, a tile backsplash, shaker cabinets, and two large windows behind a large basin sink. Just behind this space sits a bonus room perfect for a home office or gym, and that also includes full-sized washer and dryer units, and a half bath.

The second level of this home features three bedrooms and two full baths. The primary bedroom sits at the front of the home and offers plenty of square footage, closet space, and its own ensuite bathroom. Down the hall you will find another full bathroom and two more bedrooms with ample space of their own.

The basement level of this home offers even more to love. A well-appointed kitchenette offers a second refrigerator and great shaker cabinetry that hangs over a stone countertop outfitted with a two-burner electric range and sink. Just beyond sits a sizable den space, a third full-bathroom, and another bonus room with plenty of closet space.

This grand indoor space is complemented by a beautiful rear yard that is accessible from the basement, or the main floor bonus room. As you step out from the main level you will find a large ground-level deck equal in size to the rear addition of the home. A landscaped yard with two trees surrounds the deck, and flanks two spaces of private parking. Take the steps off the side of the deck to a hardscaped lower tier of the backyard that features planters and provides access to the rear entryway to the basement level.

Manor Park is a mostly residential retreat surrounded by plenty of neighborhood staples and convenience. This home is located a mile South of Takoma Metro Station (Red Line), and a mile and a half Northwest of Fort Totten Metro Station (Green, Yellow & Red Lines). Nearby Metrobus routes include the 62, 63, 70, 79, K2 & K6 lines. "Quiet neighborhood, five minutes to bus stop, fifteen minutes to Takoma subway. Elementary, Charter School, High School, Recreation Center, two libraries. Beautiful in all four seasons. "
  • deborahnb
"It's still a quaint, quiet area with still a few Senior Citizens who have been here 40 years or so. As they move out, or pass on, a nice diversity of middle classed family's move in. My first home was 3 blocks toward Silver Spring. I liked the area which is why I purchased the second home in Manor Park as well. Homes are still affordable for a middle class salary. Residents keep the outside of their homes clean with manicured lawns. Downtown Silver Spring is a great area for entertainment with restaurants; movies; light shopping; etc, and it isn't far. Takoma Metro stop is also walking distance and about 3 minutes on the bus. Overall, great location!"
  • Mark D.
"I love the area. We are looking for a house in the area. A lot of houses remodeled...Amazing!!!!"
