The home features soaring ceilings, exposed wood trusses, expansive windows, a large island kitchen, and a striking stone fireplace with a premium Fireplace Xtrordinair unit designed to heat the home. The master suite includes radiant heated bathroom floors, dual vanities, a freestanding soaking tub, and a barrier-free shower. Outside, enjoy mature pine and pepper trees, unobstructed sunrise and sunset views, a covered patio, fully fenced rear lawn, 60x90 fenced pet yard, and 12x30 chicken coop with run. Additional highlights include energy-efficient construction, spray foam insulation, low utility bills, private well with new pump and whole-house filtration, Generac propane backup generator, and 400-amp service with underground utilities already installed for future shop or ADU potential. Utilities are run approx. 60 ft to the south for one future shop/ADU location, plus a second private ADU pad location to the north set well away from the main house. Built by Freeman’s Construction Inc., a respected and well-known Ramona builder, this beautifully designed single-level home offers the kind of quality, setting, and long-term functionality buyers are always hoping to find but rarely do. Set on 3.25 private acres with panoramic Ramona Valley views, the property combines peaceful country living, thoughtful construction, and practical infrastructure in a location less than 10 minutes from town. From the moment you arrive, the home makes a strong impression. The setting feels quiet, private, and scenic, with mature pine and pepper trees, open skies, and expansive east-to-west views that deliver both stunning sunrises and sunsets. The land is highly usable and has been cleared of brush throughout the full 3.25 acres, enhancing both function and presentation while complementing the home’s wildfire-conscious construction features. Inside, the home offers approximately 2,226 square feet with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, plus an office/flex space that could serve as a 4th bedroom, along with an oversized 953 square foot 3-car garage. The architecture and layout are a major part of the appeal. Exposed wood trusses, soaring ceilings, and expansive windows create a bright and open feel, while the spacious main living area is centered around a striking stone fireplace with a premium Fireplace Xtrordinair unit designed to heat the home while also delivering warmth, ambiance, and visual impact. The kitchen is equally impressive, with a large center island, generous cabinetry, ample prep space, and an easy flow into the dining and living areas that works beautifully for everyday living and entertaining. The primary suite continues that same thoughtful approach, offering a bathroom with radiant heated floors, dual vanities, a freestanding soaking tub, and a barrier-free shower. These details help the home stand out by combining comfort, quality, and livability in a way buyers can immediately appreciate. The outdoor spaces add even more to the property’s value and versatility. A covered patio opens to a fully fenced rear lawn, creating an inviting area for relaxing, entertaining, or simply enjoying the quiet setting. There is also a separate 60x90 fenced pet yard and a 12x30 chicken coop with run, giving the property flexibility for animals, hobbies, and a more self-sufficient lifestyle. Beyond the visual appeal, this home offers meaningful infrastructure and efficiency advantages. Features include energy-efficient construction, spray foam insulation, low utility bills, a private well with a new pump, whole-house filtration, and a Generac diesel backup generator for added peace of mind. One of the most compelling long-term value points is the 400-amp service panel and underground utilities already installed for a future shop or ADU. The ADU pad location is positioned well away from the main house, offering a more private setting for guests, extended family, or potential tenants. That kind of layout gives the next owner flexibility for expansion, multigenerational living, workspace needs, additional storage, or future improvement potential while maintaining privacy. This is more than just a beautiful home. It is a well-built Ramona property that offers craftsmanship, scenic beauty, comfort, preparedness, and room to grow. For buyers who value a respected local builder, usable acreage, modern efficiency, flexible living space, and a truly peaceful setting close to town, this property stands out in all the right ways.

"It’s a safe environment for everybody and it’s clam and nice here no crazy stuff around here at all "
  • Marcella.t90
"Everyone knows everyone. Teach your kids respect and kindness. It goes a long way! Since it’s not easy to get places. Most kids have motorized scooters or bikes. Please teach the safety like wearing a helmet and not cutting cars off or speeding with them. We don’t want them to get hurt!"
  • Dianne M.
"Family friendly, great neighbors! We get occasional visits from wild turkeys, peacocks, owls and perrogine falcons. We have a mated pair of hawks, that we have watched raise babies since 2009! In the spring we get migrating Monarchs and Moutain finches. You can see the milky way most nights. Lots of town events, like the Rodeo and Fair. Ramona has a community Halloween event, and most of the town trick or treats on main street. They have activities for the 4th of July and Christmas. There are easy hiking trails like the Grasslands and more difficult ones such as Mount Woodsen and everything in between. The only con is commuting for work, not a lot of traffic just the distance of you work in San Diego."
  • Amber M.
"My commute is very long. I drive to Coronado for work, and normally hit traffic once I get on the 8 West. "
  • Mandi H.
"It’s a small, Quiet neighborhood and off the beaten path. I feel safe here. People are friendly and willing to help each other out."
  • Abingram88
"Most people have dogs here and there many places to go for a walk. Many of roads don’t have sidewalks though."
  • Jcwandersee
"4th of July parade. Summer concerts at the Sd Country Estates Park and it’s free. Very safe neighborhood "
  • Candee H.
"Great place to live if you love the outdoors and wildlife. Is expensive to live here with house prices but worth it"
  • Michael J.
"Walking dogs all the time. Great place for animals dogs horses goats llama sheep. Ramona is a nice community "
  • Edelgadillo488
"Just the fact that it’s a small town makes it feel special. It’s small but has plenty of people and things to do"
  • Joseph C.
"Clean, Quite, smaller town feel. Easy commute to Poway, Escondido, and San Diego. You can purchase a home with out your neighbor looking in your windows and have plenty of room for animals. "
  • Rosie C.
"Extremely rural, no sidewalks, ranch areas. Only one Main Street, speed limit averages 35 mph with lots of lights. "
  • Monyd2000
"Very long and at times very slow. It take 45 minutes to an hour to get anywhere. It is a good time to talk to friends or listen to an audiobook. "
  • Crackerk096
"There is a rodeo parade, Thursday cruise nights, fireworks on the 4th, the Ramona fair, concerts in the park, movies in the park, haunted trail, and merchant trick or treat, air show at our airport."
  • Monyd2000
"Every Halloween all the shops give candy. It is a family environment. People are nice a friendly. If you like farming you can buy land to do that. It is easier to buy a house because it rural. "
  • Tanner B.
"It sucks. There are tweakers everywhere and they are constantly stealing stuff. It is a nice little town but the tweakers completely ruin it. "
  • Onlyinkorea
"I am new here but it seems quaint and quiet compared to San Diego. I cantell though that many are starting to move here and I predict this town will grow significantly."
  • Zachary B.
"very dog friendly. everyone has a dog and walk them regularly. Most shops allow pets to be inside to some degree."
  • Little Lady
"It’s a busy street! People drive way to fast up 7th all the way down Ashley Rd to Hanson Lane. Beware pet owners!"
  • Trulia User
"The park in this area is really nice and could be within walking distance. The nearby school is close but a little run down. Other than the park and school sports there really aren’t a lot of things for kids to do here. "
  • Samlcooper123
"There’s a great boys and girls club not to far from here and a great community park right next to it. "
  • Janna G.
"We have a Christmas tree lighting an d small town feel. The neighbors are really friendly and I always feel comfortable walking around town"
  • Pamela S.
"It’s a quiet community away from the hustle and bustle. Mountains and hiking are only minutes away. "
  • Marcella t.
"There is an air show at the airport every year, the shops in town give out candy on Halloween, our church hold a 4tg of July party every year right across the street from where the fire works are let off."
  • Vanbuskirkboz
"I can't wait to move - my place is a nice place, neighbors are mostly ok, but I just don't fit in with the SoCal lifestyle. Can hardly wait to move back to Wa state!"
  • Vanbuskirkboz
"personally, I can't wait to leave! The neighbor's are ok, I guess, but tend to steal from me which isn't cool. Fairly quiet, except for Highway noise, but I live approx 5 miles out if town so I would expect quietness overall."
  • Liisa A. H. s.
"We have lived in this house 16 years today ! We love our neighbors !! It is a busy street @ certain times a day."
  • Sean D.
"It is a quiet town broken up into two parts: The Estates and town. The San Diego Country Estates is viewed as a higher end type of thing vs living in the town of Ramona itself. It is very country living."
