About this House

Welcome to Our Sunny & Spacious Unfurnished Two-Story Garden Home in Washington, D.C.!

We're so glad you're interested in our lovely unfurnished rental! This charming end-unit row house is perfectly located just steps from the Metro, DC Streetcar, nature trails, and the RFK Fields complex. It's a rare gem in the city: spacious, light-filled, and thoughtfully designed for both families and professionals.

The home includes 3 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, with a traditional layout offering a dining room, living room with a working fireplace, and even a sunny office nook on the main floor. The top level features three bedrooms (one great as an office!) and a full bath. All bedrooms have ample closet space, which is not always the case in DC rowhouses.

As an end unit with south-facing windows, the home is filled with natural light all day long. The bottom floor includes an inviting living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and access to a shared washer and dryer. There's also an enclosed back porch with patio furniture, a grill, and twinkle lights perfect for relaxing or entertaining.

The space is ideal for a family, especially with young children. We've included a few kid-friendly play areas, a small fenced yard for safe outdoor play, and there's a fantastic playground just a short walk away. Pets are welcome, and the nearby Anacostia River Trail offers incredible dog walking and off-leash options.

Parking is a breeze. A side parking pad is available when we (the owners) are out of town, and street parking is easy and largely unmonitored. If you need it, we're happy to help arrange additional parking passes.

Location is unbeatable: a 7-minute walk to Stadium-Armory Metro, 2-minute walk to the free H St. Streetcar, 2 Metro stops from Eastern Market, and just minutes from I-295. You're close to bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and outdoor escapes like Kingman Island and the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail.

A Quick Note About the Space & Rent:

We're offering this home at a reduced rental rate because we'll be retaining use of the in-law apartment on the ground floor. Please note there's NO SMOKING of any kind allowed at this property.

While we mostly live elsewhere, we may occasionally be in town for work and use that lower-level apartment. The space will remain mostly empty and private, and of course, you'll have full access to shared amenities like the washer/dryer.

Because of this unique setup, we're looking for great renters who are easygoing, communicative, and cooperative people who will treat the home with care and kindness. If you're someone who values a warm, respectful dynamic with your landlords, we think you'll be a great fit!

We're excited to find someone who will love and enjoy this home as much as we do. If you think that might be you, we'd love to hear from you!

Rent: Offered at a reduced rate due to partial use of the ground-level in-law suite by the owners on rare occasions.

Availability: Move-in ready ideal for longer-term renters (6 12+ months preferred).

Security Deposit: One month's rent.

Utilities: Tenant responsible for all utilities (water, gas, electric, internet).

Pet Policy: Pets welcome on a case-by-case basis (pet deposit may apply).

Parking: Street parking is easy and available; a private parking pad is also available when the owners are not in town.

Furnishing: Home is unfurnished.

Washer/Dryer: In-unit, shared between main home and in-law suite.

Owner Use of Ground-Level Apartment: Owners retain the lower-level in-law suite for occasional stays during DC work travel. Suite remains private and minimally used.

Fair Housing Compliance: We welcome all lawful sources of income, including housing vouchers. Applicants will be screened based on standard criteria such as credit history, rental references, and background checks.

We're looking for responsible, kind, and easygoing tenants who will enjoy this sunny, spacious home and treat it with care. If that sounds like you, we'd love to connect!
