6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has gone above and beyond in letting me down with regards to my sophomore aged child. Reading or writing? Grammar? Not important here. Attitude problems. Breaking the law? They don't even follow their own posted policies. They let the kids run around campus at all hours during the school day. Bring a weapon on campus and barely give them a talking to. Wanna drink, smoke and do drugs on campus during school hours? This is the school for you. Don't want to come to class? For an entire quarter? No worries. You're still enrolled and we won't discipline you either. No. I would not recommend this school if you have any type of issue whatsoever with your child. If your child wants to learn. Is a go-getter. Self motivated and want's to excel, then I'm sure they'd do great at this or any school. Good luck!Parent Review4y ago4 Reviews - Grant Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers really care about Grant and their students! They host a few family nights every year with different themes, like holiday craft, book fun, math and STEAM. Grant is the smallest elementary school in Eureka City Schools with about 225 students, so every student gets individualized attention. The teachers are all trained in Art Integration in the classrooms and they have some music in every grade with instruments in 4th/5th. Could do more hands-on science, but the focus has been on Math and Language Arts. I have seen a lot of improvement in the past 3 years my student has attended.Parent Review3y ago8 Reviews - Winship Middle

"Most people have dogs, most are kept in yards. Daily dog walkers are frequently seen. Loose dogs are not welcome. We are a leashed community. "

"dirty, gross, and lots of homeless hippies living near residential areas and harrasment of residents. Very poverty stricken, you are more likely too see multiple family's living in a single family house with children not being taken care of. "
