    "Iā€™ve lived in Hillcrest off and on for 10 years and I love it. Thereā€™s tons of restaurants within walking distance and Balboa Park is nearby, too. My only complaint is that the trolley doesnā€™t come here."

    "Hillcrest is busy but friendly - and a walker's paradise. I walk to Balboa Park, lots of restaurants and bars, grocery and drug stores, my hair stylist, and most any other service I could want. The Uptown Condo development adds to that with a wonderful solar-heated saltwater pool, hot tub, gym, our own dog park, and underground parking. "

    "The neighborhood is safe for kids to walk or ride their bike to excellent public and private schools that can be a pathway to Ivy League universities. Beautiful parks and Balboa Park that provides educational museums for all ages and many mediums including but not limited to learning balletā€¦ plus great food. And free summer concertsā€¦ and so much more. You have to visit to believe it."
