What Locals Say about Harborview

  • Trulia User
"I have seen a lot of people walking their dogs, on leashes. Seems like a very dog friendly neighborhood."
  • Carlee B.
"I do not recommend raising kids here in this area. Not a family friendly living situation. This is an area for young adults or retiring couples "
  • Isabel_buechsel
"This is a nice area with lots of restaurants to choose from...you can usually bring your dog to the outdoor area and enjoy a nice meal when the weather is nice."
  • Srschriever
"Great vibe, exciting nightlife, beautiful views, close to restaurants, and parks. The people are friendly, pets are welcome, and it’s got a great energy. The Harborview water park is great for the dogs."
  • rolling_trip
"I'm an original owner at La Boheme. The area has definitely grown up a lot with lots of new rest/bar options. It is close enough to walk to Balboa and Morely parks. It's a fun neighborhood for sure!"
  • Mike A.
"Palm-lined streets lead to this beautiful pride-of-ownership neighborhood. Virtually all of the residences are beautiful detached homes, and neighbors often know each other from frequent walks with the dogs or just to enjoy the scenery. First developed in the 1920's , the architectural style is predominantly Spanish Renaissance, with a mix of mid-century modern. The "village" center is at Adams and Marlborough with a few restaurants, cafes, bars, coffee shops, theater, liquor store, library, and a children's park. "
