  • Carolyn B.
"Best to keep kiddos within the neighborhood! While it’s pretty safe, the main roads are busy and can have a lot of traffic. "
  • Meggan O.
"You must have a car if you want to leave the city, we do have a small bus that comes very early but I’m not very familiar with it I’ve only seen it once or twice in the 30 years I’ve lived here. If you live close to town you can walk or ride a bicycle to almost everywhere in a matter of 10 min. "
  • S M
"The schools in the county aren’t great for high school. The area closer to the “city” isn’t as nice as the outer areas. It is overall conveniently located in between Louisville and Elizabethtown for things to do. There are lots of places to eat but not as many places to do for fun unless you’re involved in the community heavily. Bullitt County is a great place to live if you want to be close to Louisville without living in Louisville. It is a nice place to raise a family if you find the right area."
  • Bobby M.
"Friendly people country living close to everything. Small town feel on the out skirts of a big city with a country feel. Good schools."
  • Sarah C.
"Many don't follow leash laws, but I've never met a mean dog. There also aren't any dog parks. Many apartments have dog walking areas though. "
  • Jennifer D.
"I drive to Louisville every morning. The expressway is quick, but people drive crazy. If you’re not careful, you will be in a lot of traffic going north toward downtown Louisville if you leave later in the morning. "
  • Paige L.
"don't let your kids walk the streets alone, cause the roads are usually pretty packed and dangerous. but we're all friendly and i know pretty much everyone in my neighborhood. we're pretty festive"
  • Paige L.
"i love it. all my neighbors are friendly. and they allow animals. and i wanna live here for a long time"
  • Paige k.
"dogs are welcome, i always see people in my neighborhood walking their dogs, as long as you clean up after them there is no problem"
  • Paige K.
"we have high Halloween spirit, we love decorating and the owners give $200 to whoever wins. during the summer the church down the road comes to the front of the trailor park mailboxs n hands out free lunches n milk to the neighborhood kids. we also have a big area for kids to play basketball"
  • Marie
"Honestly it’s not a bad neighborhood. But I wouldn’t say it’s the best either. I think you need to be safe walking out of the house and all. A lot of walkers and people solicit near where I live and sometimes it’s nerve wracking. As for packages I believe a few of ours have been stolen."
  • Grace
"Over all the area is okay. It needs some renovating but the people here are quiet and keep to themselves, but if you talk to them, they’re nice. "
  • Tameralodle
"I see a lot of people walking their dogs same as we do. We live next to a high school with a lot of side walks it’s great"
  • Kbyrd538@gmail.com
"I’ve lived here for over three years in this community and the county is absolutely great and beautiful my kids come here to visit me and lived here too "
  • Limelightbytj
"The neighbors really make it a great community. They look out for each other, are kind, have fun together, and welcoming. There is a community lake to fish in and now a community pool."
  • Tera B.
"There are many families in our neighborhood. We have a park, lakes stocked for fishing, and a pool coming soon."
  • Gstyle4eva14
"i lived here in this area all my life people sre easy to get along with its easy to spark a conversation with almost anybody "
  • ronitapearson
"We have lived here for 21 years. Our daughter attended school here, and the schools are the best in the county. The neighbors are friendly, police patrol the streets. Crime is rare (and petty)."
  • Michele O.
"This is a beautiful, peaceful area so very close to the amenities of Bernheim Forest and Bardstown. Also, minutes from I-65 to Louisville or Elizabethtown."
  • sj14836
"Excellent area close to Louisville and interstate, 399 acre farm at back of 1.5 acre lot."
