About this House

New roof and boiler installed in 2010. Kitchen has all stainless steel appliances; microwave and dishwasher are brand new. Newer carpet. Digital thermostats on both levels. Hunter Douglas Honeycomb shades throughout. Insulation added to attic and spray foam in crawl space in 2010. Also out back is 8 yards of newly groomed dirt, along with two grow boxes ready for a large vegetable garden. Annuals planted this past year include strawberries, asparagus and garlic. Established flowerbed in front with columbines, bleeding hearts, and delphiniums. Newly planted raspberry and currant bushes, as well as an apple tree.

The home backs to a quiet church, which provides a very peaceful and private backyard. This is a great family neighborhood, with lots of families in close proximity. Additionally, the house is two blocks from Winchester park and playground http://anchorageparkfoundation.org/directory/winchester/. Further, the neighborhood sits across from Abbott Loop Community Park http://anchorageparkfoundation.org/directory/abbott/ . This park and recreation area offers baseball fields as well as an extensive trail system that can be used for running, hiking, biking and skiing.
