Marlboro Elementary School has been an incredible experience for our family. My son is in second grade, and every day he comes home excited about what he learned and eager to share his experiences. That alone should tell you everything.The academic programs are outstanding, especially the gifted and talented offerings. The school does an exceptional job of challenging students while still making learning fun and engaging. It’s clear that the teachers truly understand how to meet kids where they are and help them grow, not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well.What truly sets Marlboro Elementary apart, though, is the leadership of Principal Mr. Shatz. He is one of those rare principals who is genuinely present and connected. His interactions with the students are warm, natural, and enthusiastic. You can tell he truly loves being around the kids. The level of engagement he brings to the school community is off the charts. Whether it’s in the hallways, at events, or during everyday moments, he makes every child feel seen and valued. Mr. Shatz especially made a difference when my son had an altercation with another child. The culture of the school reflects that leadership. There’s a real sense of community, positivity, and pride throughout the building. As a parent, it’s incredibly reassuring to know that my child is in an environment where excellence is expected, kindness is modeled, and curiosity is encouraged.We feel very lucky to be part of the Marlboro Elementary School community. It’s a special place, and Mr. Shatz and his team are doing something truly remarkable.

Amazing experience, amazing teacher, sometimes harsh with admins- but teachers are great

I would rate my experience an 11/10 and would absolutely send my son, daughter, and cousin to this school. I cannot rave to you about this enough and am so proud to be a BLC alumni of this school.
