Description

The square footage of this home is significant, but the house is in fair to poor shape.
The upper level of the home has three rooms with a roughed in bathroom and closet, but it is unused storage space. Air and heat are in place but are also unused.
Half of the house was reroofed 5-7 years ago after storm damage. The remaining have of the roof needs to be replaced..
The water softener system does not work and damage has occurred to appliances, faucets, and the water heater, which has been replaced twice since initial purchase.
The flooring in the home, with the exception of the tiled bathrooms, needs to be replaced. Most of the flooring currently is very old carpet.
Due to the cost of GFA heating in such a large area downstairs, the primary source of heating is a fireplace with a wood burning insert and the thermostat is kept at 66 degrees. The upstairs has been closed off so heat does not escape up.
The location of the home is outside of Springfield city limits in Northwestern school district.

    "There is a lot of cookouts and family and community get togethers also. Our community comes together when we really need it the most. A lot of church charities and school charities. Not all Springfield is bad. Also the ymca is a good community even center to. This is my home town and there is still good left in this town. Not all is bad. Also the soup kitchen where it feeds the homeless and also gives the people clothes. There is also basketball courts where the community can get together and play basketball and enjoy it and have fun. There’s a skate park also where younger kids skate and ride there bikes at. There is a lot of bike trails and fields to play sports "
