So it can be easy to judge a school or blame teachers when the school isn't meeting the same standards as other surrounding cities. But Rorimer is an amazing school, especially when its got almost everything going against it: lower socioeconomic neighborhood, two working parents for most every student, and minimal parental involvements. Despite all that, Rorimer has exceptional teachers who set high academic and moral standards for their students. And the results are in their test scores and student grades. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is currently an 8th grade student at Giano. My older son whom is currently a Nogales high school student also attended Giano Intermediate for two years. I have younger ones that will soon be joining the Giano Gladiator family. My experience as well as both of my children's experience was nothing short of amazing at this school. In all schools you'll find a bad crowd of kids, regardless of how perfect the city, area or school district may seem. Of coarse children are a direct reflection of their parents or parent. Therefore if theirs no structure, stability and discipline at home the children will carry that on on campus as well. As far as the Principal, teachers and staff, they really care about the children's academic future as well as their behavior as they do represent the school as long as they attend it. They coarses and curriculum has gotten harder over time but that's simply challenges the students. The Principal, teachers and staff do a great job supporting the children that want to take advantage of all the opportunities this school has to offer. From AVID to NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY which are programs that help the children prepare and be ready for academic success throughout high school and carry on to college. As well as robotics and so many elective coarses and extra curricular activities this school has adopted in order to give the children a bigger selection of career pathway coarses that they might be interested to carry on in hight school as well as college/universities. The Principal loves his school and his students and really encourages parent involvement. "I live here not impressed with the schools. I kept my children at there previous school for there own future benefits. Homes are definitely affordable here thats why we purchased, if not would have loved to purchase in Alhambra. No complaints, my neighbors are friendly and everyone minds there own business."
