Wilson, best known for shaping many of Downtown’s most iconic landmarks, brought his era-defining vision to this later-career renovation blending Italianate and Spanish Renaissance features throughout the home. This is the only home of its kind that we're aware of in the City of Riverside, and its architectural pedigree is matched by a surprisingly functional floor plan—not common among historic residences. Inside, you’ll find beautifully preserved details: stenciled beams, Claycraft tiled fireplace, stained and plate glass windows, and a cast iron radiator with intricate relief—all just in the living room! You find that the details continue throughout the property. The main level features a spacious kitchen, dining room, sun room, living room, laundry room, and a bedroom with an adjacent three quarter bath. Upstairs, a hallway illuminated by French doors leads to three secondary bedrooms, two of which open onto private rooftop patios, as well as a hall bathroom and the primary suite. There's space for many people on the upper level and its full of character with it's classic hardwood floors, french doors and custom windows. However, it's the upstairs hall bath is among our favorite aspects with it's rose colored tile and black ceramic fixtures it's a wonderfully preserved vintage bathroom. One is from the kitchen and the other from the sun room and it’s convenient that these two spaces are connected by a door.
