2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is the worst school in Pinellas county. After parents spend a lot of money in regular school clothes for the school year now they decided a the end of the school year to go back to uniform without caring the financial hardship they will cause to parents. There are not school clothes in any stores and I called the principal secretary and they do not care kids can not attend to school if they do not have uniform. Is amazing that our options do not count, but when they do fundraiser or they need money is the only our opinion counts. Should we support their fundraiser?Parent Review1y ago - Northeast High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter transferring to Northeast, I've really enjoyed it. I've recently graduated and come from a different school in the county. One of the bigger things you'll notice as a student is how much silent (and loud) racism and unprofessional things happen here. One of the teachers has been said to say the n-word multiple times, and pretty much harassed a student "attempting" to apologize about it. Another teacher, reveals his concealed carry card to students and tells them to "not try him." The school itself is pretty good, but you'll notice a lot more snarkiness, and silent drama. From what I've experienced there's a pretty good range of demographic at the school. It's not always one set group of students in the honors/AP/Dual enrollment classes and most of the teachers seem to try to help the students succeed if they want to. The school is pretty good compared to other ones, but most people don't realize that and take it for granted.Other Review11mo ago - North Shore Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNorth Shore Elementary is an excellent school. The PTA is extremely active and really helps to support the teachers and give them resources to aid their classrooms. This really is a community school. There is a ton of parent involvement, plenty of volunteer opportunities and many events going on so you really get a chance to meet and get to know the other kids and families that attend the school. They offer a bunch of after school classes and the PTA offers scholarships so that all kids can attend. The principal and vice principal are great. They are always available to parents and are quick to respond to emails/phone calls. All of the teachers I have interacted with have been amazing. They all really care about the kids and do what is best for all of them. The teachers seem to know most if not all of the kids at the school, even if they are not in the same grade. I love that everyone seems to know everyone. My kid has been at the school for 3 years and I have not had any issues. Communication is great from the teachers/administration to the parents. The school offers so much support for many different areas/needs. If you need something, just reach out and you always get a quick response. The school focuses on making sure each child gets an education that is suited for them. If they struggle in something, there will be help available. Same if they excel in certain areas. The teachers really work with the kids to get them where they need to be. It is a smaller school compared to some of the other local schools. Uniforms are required, which I think is a plus. There is before and after care offered on site at the school. There is an ASD program for all grades. The school also offers PreK3 - 5th grade. Overall I think this is a great school and I couldn't be happier with it. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an elementary school in the area.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 334 48th Ave N #235.

"The neighborhood is pretty and Walter Fuller park is beautiful and huge… but you’ll likely find the neighbors from the multiple crackhouses sleeping on the tables and benches of you go before 9am. I’ve been yelled at and creeped on while waking the dog or when the kids are with me so I tend to avoid it that early unless I’m with a friend. Also there’s usually multiple police cars and surveillance vans parked all along 28th street, I’ve seen a few raids but the crack house is going strong. "
