"I don't have much of a commute since I work from home. however I find that we are able to get anywhere we need to go in Lexington without any issue, because we are somewhat close to New Circle. we feel like we are right in the middle of everything without being too close to downtown. it takes but a few moments on a couple of small neighborhood back roads to get to downtown lex or Richmond rd. "
  • Trulia User
"we have lovely friendly neighbors here who take care of each other. Halloween is always a fun event for the kids! "
  • Brett B.
"A walk could take 10 to 30 minutes. Public transport is very close. Drive to anywhere down town in 5-10"
  • Karen C.
"Great neighborhood with a lot of kids. Near the Speech and Language Center (school for children with hearing impairments) with great playground. "
  • Myra F.
"I just moved here. So I haven't experienced any just yet. The neighbor is relatively friendly and pretty quiet. People are either jogging or walking their dogs. "

"Neighbors watch out for each other. Plenty of green space and very quiet for having so many children constantly playing outside. Respectful people who care of their property."
  • Guy A.
"I live here and it is a tremendous neighborhood with many things nearby (within a few minutes), including shopping, restaurants, recreation, nightlife, and entertainment."
  • susan o.
"This is a great neighborhood for walking. The houses are unique and beautiful, many in bungalow and craftsman style. It feels quite safe and is not far from a few restaurants and shops, and a little longer walk (10 minutes) brings you to the Chevy Chase area."
  • carolinekoye
"The neighborhood is great - the houses aren't the new cookie cutter style so you have rooms to make your house your own. Lexington is a great place to live - and this neighborhood is wonderful and affordable! "
  • Scott H.
"Great location. Close to UK, I-75/64, New Circle Road, Hamburg shopping, parks, great restaurant within walking distance."
