3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible teachers. Most of the teachers if not all are rude and unprofessional and show favoritism among students. It is very disturbing and disgusting. Seeking validation and social standing by aligning themselves with the "cool" kids, even as an adult.Other Review1y ago9 Reviews - West Seattle Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love the positive and inclusive climate at this school. The class sizes are small (~15-16), the building is new, and the teachers and staff we've gotten to know have been kind and skilled, with excellent understanding of their students and the motivation to support them on their individual journeys. If you read the OSPI statistics you will see how this title 1 school stands out as a positive amongst others. There is a PTO too!Parent Review1y ago5 Reviews - Denny Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has new leadership, and we've had a great experience. As an option school, most families are involved and interested in their child's education. It's helped round out the school with the after-school enrichment and other opportunities outside of just core academics that we've seen a number of families put time and effort into. If anything we wish SPS would fund these schools, and all their schools better. As our kids have gotten older we've seen benefits to the project-based work they do, and appreciate the number of long-time teachers.Parent Review2mo ago7 Reviews - Check out schools near 3263 Relisted.

"I've lived in this neighborhood since 2014. It is one of the most diverse areas in Seattle and is surrounded by many beautiful parks. There is a community garden that sells produce in the summer. There is an apiary (bee hive) that produces honey, and tons of green space for families. Plus there are many incredible viewpoints of the city."

"Public transportation is easy and frequent to use. On buses it takes about 35 minutes in the morning and 45 in the evening. Wills be better once buses can avoid the downtown gridlock and pop onto Alaskan Way at Columbia "

"Love the neighborhood but don’t want to raise kids here. Lots of porch theft and car break-ins. It’s quaint and cute, great for starting out and I do believe the neighborhood is up and coming."

"High Point has many parks for children and adults to use, with 3 playgrounds within walking distance from our house! The neighbors are very engaged, we have block parties every year, and we have loved our home and community for the last 11 years!"

"It’s not the greatest. Really no good parks or play areas near by. No restaurants or stores in walking distance or even remotely close."

"I've lived in the neighborhood for a year now. We fell in love with the diversity as well as all the greenery and parks the neighborhood has to offer. Neighbors smile and say hello and you can always find kids on their bikes headed towards the many playgrounds."

"I knew as we pulled into the neighborhood that this home was going to be the one. With a baby on the way, my number one priority was safety and move in ready place. This neighborhood is like plesantville, and the friendly neighbors made it especially appealing. I could easily envision our family living and belonging here. There are a lot of open fields with aged trees and many playgrounds within minutes of walking distance. It was a no brainer, and we made an offer right away -- have not regretted our decision once!"

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 11 years and we're looking to buy a new home in the same area too. There is a Home Depot and Target close by, which I love. Great for kids as many playground and parks are within blocks. "
