"Good place and I’ve been I here almost a year I’m from Virginia and it’s quiet and no one really bothers anyone "
  • Jackie.richie54
"Dog owners would love this neighborhood because most dogs know each other and play with each other and neighbors look out for all animals "
  • Grant Thompson
"Quick and painless with multiple routes to downtown. Versailles Rd, the east west connector, and US127 give fast access in or out of the downtown area. "
  • Francelene Jeanty
"Not sure at all. I just live here don’t really know anyone to say it it is unique or not. Too many rules can’t really live a peaceful "
  • Spy6sjddv5
"They would love the walk around the capital and the chance the see the governor walking his dog. The flowers and the trees blooming"
  • Radell Freeman
"Don’t move here with your dog you nor your dog will like it here! This place is a dump and no one cleans after their pets and sometimes you see aggressive dogs running around loose it’s crazy"
  • bsharp1961
"Easy access to everything…. Public transportation available. Bad parts of town are limited. Local police do a good enough job."
  • Lazman3
"Lived here 8 years nice place to live and work plenty of shopping and restaurants dog friendly kid friendly "
  • Stephanie.ethington
"Summer concert series , walking distance from downtown , safe sidewalks , bike trails , bike lanes , kid friendly , lots of shopping amenities , "
  • bsharp1961
"No sidewalks, cars zip by you dangerously, and pay no heed to stop signs….as you walk your dog through the neighborhood, you’ll notice many other dogs that are stuck in the backyard. That never gets a walk, some never come inside the house…."
  • Kim Tompkins
"Close to everything I need and not far from anywhere I want to go. It’s in between two major highways and is a nice neighborhood in front of farmland. It’s the best."
  • Kyffin B.
"Commute is traffic friendly. Even during rush hour the commute is tolerable. There are multiple routes to the major roads which make this possible. Detours are common during any construction and are well thought out. "
  • Linsey W.
"my daily commute is always smooth and quick usually no problems and always feel safe! Everyone is always so friendly! I do the commute from Frankfort to Versailles everysyff fun been"
  • Yvonnesherrick
"I am not sure for most part Frnkfort is a good area to raise kids. other than that schools are good too"
  • Destinie.harris
"While Frankfort has beautiful scenery you won’t find anywhere else, that and lower cost of living are the only positives I’ve found since living here. I’m originally from Versailles (which doesn’t have a Walmart), and I feel like that says a lot. My area constantly smells like sewage due to the little creek nearby. It’s very noisy almost all day between sirens every hour, people setting off their own car alarms every time they go to their car, fireworks and gunshots (yep, uh huh), and college students. "
  • Myke P.
"I do enjoy my neighborhood for the most part. My neighbors keep to themselves but are friendly when we do have conversations. Neighbors from the apartment complex do get a little nosey at times."
  • Tdw8989
"I've lived here almost two years, it seems safe & a friendly & nice area... Its also a nice area that we in... "
  • Caroline C.
"It’s fine for dogs I guess but not all that walkable one general. The sidewalks are often jacked up and there are trashy people sitting outside on their porches that will catcall and cause a scene. "
  • Trulia User
"there are a lot of open spaces for dogs to run. and play in the city and country. but not many renters will allow pets. "
  • Jen S.
"we tend to stay close to home. we live two blocks from the Capitol and there is always something going on there plus we are close to downtown and go there when we have the chance. we love going to the farmer's market."
  • Christa Q.
"You can get anywhere in town in under 10 min. There is easy access to the interstate from either side of town. "
  • Horsman1412
"Nice small town. I’ve lived here for fifteen years nice place to raise a family. Close to Lexington and Louisville "
  • Sarah B.
"I lot of people cut though this neighborhood to avoid lights which causes lots of traffic and there isn't any sidewalks."
  • Gemturner94
"it’s a quiet, small town but it’s in the middle of kentucky’s main cities (lexington and louisville) so location is great "
  • Jeantyfrancelene
"I lived in this neighborhood for 1 year and every is very friendly And stay to themselves must of the time "
  • Gemturner94
"The town is dead quiet as soon as it’s dark out there’s really no party scene compared to Lexington or Louisville "
  • Mommakatie1979
"that there is poo bags an that if ppl clean after there anmials an there dogs can have place to run an play.."
  • Amandajo70
"Neighbors help each other out when needed. We used to have neighborhood kids hanging around all the time, & we'd eat dinner at each other's houses. There are a lot of good people around here! "
  • Jdbrew2
"We live in a multigenerational neighborhood in which we watch after each other and try to hold get-togethers regularly. "
  • Gcurry1313
"Don’t live near the capital. Not a safe place for families. The old capital is ok to walk around at night, but make sure your in a group."
  • Mambamomma
"Older established neighborhood, mature trees, valued elementary school, good accessibility location to retail, hospital, restaurants."
  • Gcurry1313
"They have car shows all the time and they have family events like trunk or treating. A lot of people Pokémon go by the old capital and are very friendly. "
  • Mamabamomma
"Near public transportation bus line. Between East West Connector and Louisville Rd. Great to bike anywhere in Frankfort. Good local dining, and Parks."
  • Paige W.
"Most of the neighborhood is nice. The apartments are not as nice but still livable. Close to parks and schools"
  • Em
"These places look great now!!! I have spoken to the owner of the building several times, personally. He is a family man and takes pride in in properties. Looks 100 percent better. "
  • Anonymous
"the rent is going up while the value and cleanliness goes down.. drugs have hit this area hard over the passed 10 years.. kids csnt even play outside, anything left out is gone forever.. "
  • Whitney S.
"The subsidized housing is behind this neighborhood. Therefore, they jump the fence and walk through Crestwood. This has led to multiple thefts/break-ins/stolen property. Luckily we’re just renting. The neighbors are wonderful people. It’s the foot traffic that’s the issue. "
  • Dolph D.
"Very nice neighborhood is South Frankfort.Parks, dog walking everywhere. Neighbors know each other and our friendly !"
