About this House

Beautiful one-bedroom in Eckington available for rent July 1. It gets great sunlight and is well laid-out. It contains a bedroom, a living area with a full kitchen (enough space for a small kitchen table/chairs on one end and a couch/coffee table on the other), a full bathroom, and central AC and heat. There is also extensive Elfa shelving in the bedroom, closet, and kitchen area. Washer/dryer are in the building and free.

The condo building contains 15 units, is within walking distance of Rhode Island Ave metro (red line), and is near a number of bus lines, including the P6 and G8 that go straight into downtown. While parking is not included, street parking is often find-able on the same block. The condo is also near Howard and Catholic Universities. Eckington is a lovely residential neighborhood adjacent to the hip neighborhoods Bloomingdale and Shaw and their restaurants, bars, and farmer's market.

Email me if you have any questions. I will be showing the property on June 20!

"Excellent location for getting to all quadrants within 20 minutes or less. Convenient to bus, metro rail, car share, bike share, you name it, it can be found here. Service is also readily available at all hours here unlike some communities that become a ghost town after 9pm. "

  • Andy M.
"Eckington is among the many up and coming areas in DC. Eckington is unique because it has corners reaching each general city setting with commerce, warehouses, housing, and metro stations that run right through it. What makes it stand out is that it maintains a neighborhood feel without jeopardizing the city aspect of DC life."
  • Andy M.
"Easy commute -- it's within 15 min of virtually any destination in DC. I always take advantage of the metro station or super affordable ride sharing services. Although buses do run throughout the neighborhood, I have never used it."
  • Andy M.
"A lot of great families here looking for the same thing. Convenience, affordability, and above all safety."
  • Keaerra W.
"Itโ€™s like living in a suburb surrounded by the city. Itโ€™s quiet when it needs to be but has just enough going on."
  • Ed
"I have lived in Eckington for 4 years now and have send a wonderful transition of real estate improvements, great neighbors and huge reduction in crime , littering and vagrancy. What a wonderful change from the hard hit community of the 90's. Close to a thriving NoMA, H St. and U St. entertainment corridors!"
