The children don't all have the best attitudes but that shouldn't stop me from saying this school was good to me. "Friendly people, very active neighborhood association with canyon hikes and neighborhood cleanups. (we have 4 canyons), a local coffee shop, an active Nextdoor.com community, Commitment to neighborhood art. Lots of diversity and smiling faces. Kids, retirees, young families, people of all colors and creeds. Great place!"

"Since I moved here in 1989, I've seen 3-5 drive-by shootings to kid's after dark right here on Poplar st. Even though a police station is 1 mile away, and they DO patrol these neighborhoods well, it's still a high crime area. So I rate the Safety factor as low, not in reflection to San Diego's finest, but the crime that happens here. If the safety were "Average", I would rate the rest 1 point higher."
