Vitals: 2 Bedrooms, 2 bath, plus small storage/utility room. Conforming side-by-side duplex. Beautiful open kitchen floorplan, gas range on an island. Oak floors. Living and dining room on the main floor. Downstairs, you have 2 bedrooms and a small office/finished storage area. The lower floor is laminate (styled like hardwood). Two full bathrooms. There's a small deck in the back, and a small shared backyard which we maintain. The home was built in 1944 but completely redone in 2006-2007. (One of the photos is slightly out-of-date because we now have a better gas range and updraft ventilation system). There's a built-in 4 speaker system in the living room which you may hook up an amplifier to if you like. About 1150 square feet. A monitored home security system is present; rent includes the monthly monitoring fee. Other utilities (Gas/Electrical/Phone/Cable/Water-Sewer-Garbage) are your responsibility. $2700/month. First month rent + $2700 deposit (all refundable) to move in. Reasonable credit score required; proof of income or available assets may be required. The home is a short walk to Harvest Vine, Rover's, Luc, and Essential Bakery; also close to Madrona Park and a bunch of Ethiopian restaurants. There are two small parks within a few blocks, and several others within walking distance. It's near Safeway and Grocery Outlet, and a reasonable walk to Trader Joe's. Convenient to Swedish Hospital/Group Health/Virginia Mason. Seattle University and University of Washington are close. Nearby buses include 2, 8, 11, 43, and 48. Owners are Jason and Hiromi Truesdell. Pam Hendrickson, Jason's mother, is arranging showings and move-in. Using the contact form may result in a slower response.

Tenant pays utilities, Landlord pays for security system monitoring service and yard maintenance. This unit has never had pets since remodeling was done, and we'd prefer no pets because of that, but will consider on a case-by-case basis with additional deposit. Please note that the property is expected to be vacant 1/15. I will be traveling between 1/16 and 1/17 so may be a bit slow to respond to queries.
