4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is terrible and lunches suck. The only thing good is the JROTC program, and most of the teachers are not good. There is nothing to this school and it's vending machines only work half the time. It needs better rules and all of the classes are boring. There are too many things that this school has wrong and its just not a good school.Other Review1mo ago13 Reviews - James T Alton Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe athletic programs are a mess. No consistency. The basketball program had all kids on the honor roll - puts education and the kids first. This year our son was told by the football coach that they would be benched for participating in basketball - which is something that he loves (basketball is at different times). If you are thinking of coming to JTA for football - I would look at a school and program that puts the kids and their education first.Parent Review1y ago6 Reviews - Vine Grove Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBeen here 2019 for 5th grade and sucked lowkey. Education… I learned… nothing… and I kept failing writing and somehow ended with a B… Only had 4 classes (Math, Reading, Writing, Social studies) and writing was the worst since all we did was 3.8 paragraphs the entire year (not learning actual writing. Only read three things in reading class the entire (The color book about racism) (Toothbrushes and their history) (How recycling is healthy and not) BoRiNg… No science or english class…Social studies was the only good class learning atleast something new sometimes… Literally the same stuff all year and nothing new…Other Review11mo ago8 Reviews - North Park Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love the teachers and staff at this school. I really feel they have my daughters best interest in mind. They work well to keep her learning on track and pushing her to work to her highest capability all while keeping it fun! She loves her teachers and has a great new experience everyday! The school is also really great about offering experiences for parents to get involved in their child's learning and how to best help your child succeed! Such a great school!Parent Review10y ago8 Reviews - Check out schools near 270 Eubank Ln.

"Me personally I like that there’s a lot of nice dog owners around and buildings are pet-friendly. It’s also nice to see people walking with their dogs."

"Lived here a year and people keep to themselves. Maintence is questionable but it's cheap housing in a horrible market"

"Great location for all ages, very few rentals in area. Large homesites with well maintained homes and gardens/yards. Poultry is allowed which is great for fresh eggs. Love this neighborhood and friendly neighborhood."

"Very nice area to walk your dog but all the dogs are small to medium size. I have not seen any large dogs in the neighborhood."

"Radcliff is an area that is solely for living. There are no real community events, nor is there a sense of belonging here. It seems to be a place where people live temporarily due to its location to Fort Knox."

"Parts of Radcliff are nice but I would definitely research the area and educate myself about the cost of living and quality of life in each neighborhood that you’re interested in because there are some places that even if you’re a good quiet neighbor you still have high crime and could become a victim to the crime there"

"The neighborhoods here are not good. They are trash. Minus the 25% that are decent and away from the bad neighborhoods"

"Drugs being sold in our neighborhood. People just throw out their old furniture and trash in the yard and that’s where it stays. The neighbors across the street are selling drugs. "

"I am retired, so I can go or come while others are working. This area has plenty of roads that make shopping easy to get around. "

"It’s okay. Not great, but not bad. It’s definitely better than Elizabethtown. My favorite thing is that the police are very responsive—unlike Etown. Anytime we’ve needed police help, for example, to report a dog in a locked car, they’ve been very quick to help. We used to live in Etown, which is certainly more of a closed-minded area."

"Small community , close to larger cities and Fort Knox Military base. What's not here is 5 miles away in Elizabethtown or if not there 15 miles away in Louisville."
