About this House
Move in May 1st! This lovely first-floor, one-bedroom, one-bath condo in Edgewood, DC, is for rent at $1900/mo, with water and electric utilities included.
It is a 1-year lease with a $1500 security deposit. Comcast or RCN are available for cable and/or internet service in the building.
This large, open floor plan features recently refinished hardwood floors, fresh paint, and a brand-new bathroom. The kitchen features granite countertops, a new refrigerator, and a microwave, and it opens up to generously sized dining and living room space. The large bedroom boasts natural light and is large enough for a home office. The HVAC was fully replaced in February 2024. The brand-new, beautifully renovated full bathroom completes this unit. Enjoy being moments away from the newly renovated Edgewood Recreation Center, which hosts a state-of-the-art gym, sports courts (indoor and outdoor), and more. Bike Share is located on 3rd Street, the Rhode Island Metro Station (Red Line) and bus lines that take you right downtown, including the D8, G8/G9 express, Giant Grocery Store, Metropolitan Branch Trail, Bryant Street Food Hall, Alamo Drafthouse, Kraken Kourts, the Brookland farmers market on Saturdays, and all the restaurants and shops the Brookland and Bloomingdale neighborhoods have to offer.
The kitchen does have a combination washer/dryer. However, it takes forever and is obnoxiously loud if you work from home. I used the building laundry, which is next door to the unit, and I recommend you do the same. At some point, the appliance will be replaced with a drawer and cabinetry for better/more storage.
LGBTQIA+ friendly. Non-Smoking.
Dog and Cat friendly. The condo building has a pet policy, and I ask that it be followed: Dogs and Cats only, weight no more than 40lbs, and no more than 2 pets per unit, with an annual fee of $50.
1 year lease, will not convert to month-to-month.
The owner pays for water and electricity; the tenant chooses between Comcast or RCN for their own cable and/or internet.
