My son was in class with a teacher that was basically torturing students inspite of repeatedly asking for him to be removed. She was putting students including my son in the hall for hours. She takes playtime away from the entire class constantly. She takes special events away from the students individually. She cannot move on day to day with the children if your bad for one day then their bad every day after. She talks to the students constantly about her husband being in the military while she is providing discipline inspite of the fact that she is a teacher and not a drill instructor nor is she in the military. When playtime is taken which is most days the students have to practice lining up because you know she’s military affiliated. She was also continuously threatening the children with not advancing which let’s face it no child left behind public schools that isn’t a reality that is going to happen. She couldn’t pay attention to the students from us and teach students that we’re immigrants at same time. Part of the reason my son was being put in the halls is because they needed more attention than resident students. She ruined my sons love of learning and happiness to go to school. I can honestly say he learned very little because of her constant nagging the students didn’t want to hear anything she had to say. She’s a punitive miserable person and I really hope brooks eventually deals with Haley Stewart she doesn’t like children and our children do not deserve being exposed to her. I would leave this review under their public page but of course they have commenting turned off.

This school was the worst to go to. 1.the teachers would always yell at students for trying to get out of a group of people they couldn’t work with. 2. The assistant principal would tell students one thing then change the whole story when the parents confronted her about it. 4. They do nothing about bullying. So many kids were bullied and they would just have a talk with them. When the talk didn’t work they would call parents and that’s it. They say bullying isn’t a problem at Hebron but so many kids could say different. Getting a knife found in your locker is just a call home to your parents to home get the knife or weapon no isap or suspension.

Worst school I’ve ever been to. Freshmen year was too easy so Sophomore year was incredibly hard to deal with. They spend money on sports rather than academics. If you’re struggling they don’t really help not to mention that if you’re tardy 6 times you get to go to court. They care more about those tardies than being absent. I came to school, got great grades and just because throughout the whole year I got 6 tardies (unexcused) I had to go to court. If you have a trouble with another they aren’t good with dealing with it. I got blamed for a situation that wasn’t my fault, the counselors were totally against me. The bathrooms close at least once a month, you get once pass a day which I understand but it can be hard for some if they are on their period. Overall it’s a terrible school and it’s been so hard for me to keep going here. If you can do not send your child here.
