Description

In the very heart in the very desirable Eastlake area of Seattle, just steps from the shores of Lake Union, is this gem of an apartment that is rarely available. It's a 2-bedroom, I-bath apartment with dining room, large living room and close to 1000 square feet of prime living space. Plantation style shutters are installed throughout all rooms. There is a separate shared laundry room, and an impressive 550 square foot storage space reserved exclusively for this unit. Parking is by zone permit.

2519 Minor Ave E is the largest unit of this unique, well maintained boutique triplex. It is located on the very best street of the neighborhood, just south of Roanoke Street, and only a stone's throw to the water. This is a quiet and peaceful street, surrounded by beautiful single family homes and condominiums. You have a waterfront mini park just around the corner at the base of Roanoke Street. Plus a colorful array of houseboats that are the talk of the town located all along the waterfront, together with other public spaces and parks. It's great to walk and bike or jog around, and it's a fabulous area that is cherished by those that live there and those that would like to live there. There's a supermarket just a block away across the street from the water. And you are in close proximity to everything you need access to, whether it be the University of Washington, South Lake Union, the Burke Gilman Trail, downtown Seattle, the Seattle Center, South Lake Union, I-5, Hwy 520, Metro transit buses and the South Lake Union streetcar. Right up on Eastlake Ave. are lots of restaurants and retail establishments for your convenience.

2519 Minor Ave E. was recently completed remodeled, and includes newly refinished gleaming hardware floors throughout, fresh paint, a new kitchen with granite countertops, new cabinets, stainless steel appliances and dishwasher. The bath has been completed remodeled with fully tiled tub/shower, new fixtures, flooring and lighting. Both bedrooms include good sized walk-in closets and there is a deck off of the second bedroom. The front room includes a peek-a-boo view of downtown Seattle. There is new low-energy LED lighting throughout all rooms, with accent wall LED lighting in the living room.

This was built as the 'owner's unit' for this triplex. (By the way, I am the owner, and used to live in this unit for many years). The windows have all been replaced with energy efficient insulated glass, and all include Bali plantation style shades. There is also a deck off the second bedroom. .

Prior tenants stay a long time because they love the location of this unit, and the fact that is feels like living in a single family residence. There is nobody living above you, below you, or on any of three sides. There is only one common wall. It's quiet and feels like home.

There is a ton of natural light, with big windows in the front room, and level, easy access to the front sidewalk. You do not have to hike up a bunch of stairs, nor go down a long hallway to get to your home. Nor do you have to worry about cavernous stairwells, elevators, distractions and other big building nuisances.

Parking is on street, yet regulated by Zone parking.

I pay for water, sewer and garbage. You pay electricity and any phone/cable hookups you may desire. Heat is electric.

This is a place you'll enjoy coming home to every day. Take a look at this great apartment and see how good your life can be!

Water, sewer and garbage are included in the rent, and you do not have to pay extra. You are responsible for electricity and internet hookups only. 2 people maximum on lease. Parking via Zone Permit; good availability on street. Looking for quiet, clean tenants with good rental history.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.

"The city is setting up Rapid Transit right on Eastlake. Not a good neighborhood for car owners. If you take the bus or walk or bike - this neighborhood will be usable. NO grocery store here!"
  • Tanyac
"You can walk along the water and let them splash around or head to the parks for some fetch. Most people clean up after their dogs and we interact with other friendly dogs regularly."
  • Aina W.
"It’s a dog friendly neighborhood and there are great places for dogs to run. It’s awesome and very inviting "
  • Aina W.
"I think it’s a great neighborhood for dogs. Water access is everywhere and people are super friendly. "
  • Mellow328
"There’s a handful of owners whom don’t pick up after their dogs. There’s also no dog park to let your dogs run around off leash. "
  • Annajenn
"Beautiful, especially in the summer. Tons of cute little mini parks by the water to enjoy the view. Not many bars/restaurants within walking distance, but the few (mammoth, serafina, ciccheti) are great. "
  • do n. c.
"I just moved here and I love it. I wake up to the birds chirping and fall asleep to the crickets and frogs. The city views are incredible. I am close to Pete's Market which has a wonderful produce section and amazing variety of wines. I love being just down the road from 14 Carrots Café, an awesome breakfast and lunch location. I will live here for as long as my landlord will allow. I love it so much!"
  • Michael F.
"I live here, and walk to work. Eastlake is a great neighborhood if you enjoy living an urban lifestyle, with great restaurants, shops, and parks all within walking distance. Public transportation is excellent, with frequent buses."
