6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCrompond has been nothing but a great experience. My son has Mrs. Kivel. I can not express how much he loves her! She is a phenomenal teacher that cares! She is up to date with innovation and technology, using it to the best of the children's advantage. She knows where education is headed! The principle Mrs. Roberts is delightful and is very welcoming.Parent Review8y ago - Mildred E Strang Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagehonestly, the teachers are ok they judge you for you in the bathroom too long. being in there for 5 minutes and then getting yelled at for being in to long they don't do much about bullingStudent Review2y ago - Yorktown High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has a good reputation and my child and I feel safe at the location. It’s a small school so unfortunately their class selections are very limited and because of this it’s also a scheduling puzzle. I have noticed that instead of encouraging a student to reach higher they are dummied down and put in classes where they will get higher grades thus making the school look good yet the student was not admitted into a class that would have greatly benefited their education. The school will not put them in an AP or honors class if they don’t think they will get into the mid 90’s as a grade. Thus denying the child the option to take a class that could have been beneficial to them in their education and growth that they do qualify for. All of my child’s others schools would have never done this. If they qualified they would have been encouraged to take advanced classes. Instead here they are dummied down, which also does not help their confidence, especially at this sensitive crossroads (college bound) time. All to keep that average of the school up my child is being kept exactly that, average. It’s bull. Had been going on for the three years we have been here.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 2515 Garden Lane.
