Within walking distance of Spruce Pool and Whittier International Elementary School, a historic neighborhood school with an international focus. Casey Middle School 1.0 mile away; Boulder High School 1.4 mi. Walkability score = 86 ("very walkable"). Only 1.1 mile from Pearl Street Mall. Easy access to Twenty-ninth Street Mall, CU, and bike paths. Good transit connections.

While its central location makes this home particularly desirable, the property also features a small, attractive front garden, a landscaped, fenced back yard with patio, gated access to the city-maintained alleyway behind the house, and rare off-street parking for two cars. The original historic home has been enhanced with the addition of a large, sunny, south-facing wing that includes living room, dining nook, and entry. The kitchen is equipped with stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Adjacent to the kitchen is a small laundry room with sink, a washing machine, and a dryer. Beyond the laundry room is a small "mud room" or storage room that opens to the back porch.
