I love this school! Currently I am a 7th grader and I am in the athletics program and I love it. We had to try out and all of the girls are amazing. I have made so many friends at this school and I absolutely love it. The teachers are super nice and understanding and most of the teachers that I have had do not do homework. The only homework we get is the work we do not finish in class. These other reviews from students are saying that they have so much work. I don't disagree but I also don’t agree. Yes, we get a lot of work but if you use the class time that we get wisely then you will get most of the work done. In 7th grade we have a WIN class which is just a catch up class for doing your homework or unfinished work from other classes. So like I said, I absolutely love this school and the coaches, teachers, students and other staff are great.

THIS SCHOOL IS AMAZING ALL THE ELECTIVES AND SPORTS ARE AMAZING THERE'S FIGHT EVERY ONE IN A WHILE BUT ITS NEVER BAD AND TEACHERS AND STAFF ARE SERIOUS ABT BADGES/LANYARDS MS. EPPS IS NOT NICE BUT IF UR KID IS GONNA BE IN ADVANCED MATH TRY TO GET THEM IN MS. AGBRIGHTS CLASS SHE IS SO NICE AND SHE HELPS AND THE TUTORIALS IN THE MORNING ARE SO NICE WE HAVE FCA MEETINGS WHICH IS BIBLE STUDY PLUS SO MUCH MORE I RECOMMEND GYMNASTICS FOR UR KID STARTING IN SIXTH GRADE ITS FOR BOTHE GENDERS AND DANCE IS NICE AND THERE WILL BE LIKE ONE BOY IN THERE BUT THE GIRLS LOCKER ROOMS ARE NICE AND IN DANCE THEY GIVE U A LOCK BUT IF U LOSE IT U HAVE TO PAY NINE DOLLA DOLLA AND FOR SHOES IT TWENTY DOLLA DOLLA KIDS WILL BE FITTED FOR IT AND FOR THE SHIRTS ITS FIFTEEN BUT THIS SCHOOL IS AWESOME

The special education teachers were good for my kid. The principal has an attitude and she’s not friendly to parents and students. The leadership is awful based on what my neighbor says. Get new leadership.

Garland high school has great IB program. The teachers are amazing and well qualified. great school. Highly recommended IB program.

This place has gone downhill since Mrs. Bailey and so many good people left. The principal is awful and literally hates kids. It's so sad to see where this school is now compared to how wonderful it was just a few years ago. We are pretty disappointed. I would not recommend this school to anyone anymore.

Most Teachers are disrespectful to the students and punish unfairly, bad school DON’T GO!

Sellers was a great school to attend when Mr. Mays was principal. I would even say it was a great school prior to the leadership of Mr. Mays. There is a new principal there who is trying to make a difference by improving performance and operational management. The year that I left the school, there was more than 50 staff members who also left. The administrators were visibly fighting with each other. This was having a negative impact on overall school performance. Sellers was the school that had proven that all students can achieve beyond normal expectations.

I can tell the teachers and office staff love working at this school!!! They greet every child in the morning and know everyone’s name. Their excitement is contagious for the students! My child tested in the high percentiles and was a grade level ahead by mid year. Teachers really work hard to keep students meeting educational goals, and especially loved the extra curricular teacher involvement. My child can now draw very well and knows how to sing so many songs thanks to her art and music teachers.

Discrimination against a 10-year-old boy with ADHD and ASD who has been bullied since he began attending this school, with nothing done to the other children who are bullying him, but this boy who is being bullied is constantly punished, and the children who are bullying him take sides against him. This school has to be thoroughly examined because not only are pupils not truthful, but neither is the staff, and they are now isolating this youngster from defending himself because he does not feel safe.
