Description

Beautiful and well-maintained 3 story brick home in desirable and historical Wallace Woods! Enjoy spacious rooms with high ceilings and beautiful natural light throughout. Have drinks on your large, covered front porch. Entertain around the fire in your own private backyard oasis, or grill out on the patio. Let your kids play in the shade of mature trees in the backyard, or ride their bikes in a neighborhood of Victorian homes. Cut fresh flowers from your own beautifully landscaped front gardens, and get to know your friendly new neighbors!

Original architectural details of this home include four stained glass transoms, two sets of pocket doors, arched windows, a gorgeous Rookwood fireplace with working antique gas fireplace insert, a butler's pantry, and a spindle-rail staircase.

The ground floor includes beautiful, original hardwood floors with ceramic tile in the kitchen. The foyer, living room, dining room, half bath, butler's pantry and kitchen are on this floor. Four bedrooms (one bedroom with two large closets and two bedrooms with single large closets), a linen closet, and a full bath grace the 2nd floor. The third floor is a large, beautiful, cozy, and private finished attic which could be an additional bedroom, den, playroom, office, art or music studio, or craft room. The attic also includes a large unfinished storage room which has potential to become a master bath. An unfinished, dry basement with a concrete floor spans the entire footprint of the home and includes a laundry room with a basic shower and a utility sink; a large room with built-in wooden workbench space; and a small original coal room. The home has a relatively new roof and HVAC system, well insulated replacement windows, a new water heater, and new clothes washer. There is brand new paint throughout the interior of the home and on the exterior trim.

"Close to almost anything in the Cincinnati area. If commute is a top priority this is the cheapest location with the shortest commute. I work 30 mins up north in Springdale which is a 25 mile drive. In 30 mins I could probably make it down to Williamstown, KY. South of MLK Street can be a bit unsafe just fyi."
  • Reeds-fuzzier.0l
"Nice area, very quiet, packages are safe outside.. however not a very minority friendly area. I've lived here for years, neighbors only began to speak/ look me in the face once they seen I had gotten a puppy. "
  • Keli Simpson
"The schools are not the greatest. The sixth district school has been completely remodeled and has air conditioning. There is an FC sponsored soccer pitch close,"
