6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStudents (especially the girl students) are sexually harassed with no punishment to their harasser, and in some cases, get in trouble for seeking justice. The administration justifies these actions and don't punish the male students because they’re on the football or basketball team. It’s horrifying, seeing your child be harassed in such a way with no repercussions. Please keep your children close and safe, because this school doesn’t.Parent Review1y ago - Toomer Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter started Pre-K at Toomer this year and I could not be more impressed with the school and staff. I have lived in Kirkwood since 2004 and am amazed at how much this school has evolved into our thriving neighborhood school. There are so many involved parents walking their kids to school every morning (myself included) and the staff already knows my daughter's name and greets her every day as we walk in. The classroom is very stimulating and her teacher is very positive and engaged with the children. The Principal clearly has a firm focus on where she wants to take the school and is working extremely hard to implement her plan. I am excited about the implementation of Mandarin and the global focus. I would strongly recommend this school. The PTA is very active and works very hard for these children.Parent Review1mo ago - Maynard H. Jackson- Jr. High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI tried at this school but foster and the administration are awful they targeted me and provided little to no support for my 504 plan there’s no reason for expulsion for a vape device this school needs some real change and quick. All the students and employees for the most part are cool.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 241 Maynard Ter #14.
