"We have community cookouts and picnics combined with pool parties. We eat out with neighbors for Breakfast or Dinner."
  • William S.
"Area homes are well maintained and traffic is usually light and at a speed that makes it safer for children and other pedestrians. Family recreation is available on the nearby Colorado river for boating and jet skiing. For a few hours farther, Las Vegas has family style recreation or a little longer trip to the Grand Canyon in Arizona is an awe inspiring sight."
  • Brianareneemoren
"This city needs more local stores maybe a mall and entertain for children not just adults also it needs more restaurants "
  • Faith S.
"to go to the store, gym or car wash you have to go 30 min to bhc, its hot af, all elderly people or tweekers, nothing to do, especially for kids, but i live in a nice neighborhood, its cheap and my neighbors are lovely"
  • Pappagil86@gmail.com
"I lived in Laughlin for approximately 18 years and never had any problems in the area I moved to BHC so my son could go to Mohave High"
  • Gina E.
"Seems to be a safe area with no crime. Close to shopping, bank, post office, etc. very nice park in area with boys & girls club near. Public bus transportation runs within the community."
  • Gina e
"Nothing as it is your run of the mill neighborhood with a snowbird influx during the winter months. Nothing for the teens to do to occupy their time but to get into mischief and cause trouble. Most parents work at the local casinos which leaves many kids home alone as the only choice available to the parents.....again resulting in lack of parental control which leads to vandalism in the area. Not my first choice as a family environment to raise my family and I’m trying to get out."
  • Hdavidson8789
"its not even unique. i hate it here i hate the weather i wanna move outta this town been here since i was born and now its time to leave"
  • aileenmullaney
"Laid back country life in the desert. Laughlin has 9 casino's and one two story mall. Just a jaunt across the river to all your shopping needs. About 1.25 hours to Las Vegas and float down the Colorado river just minutes from your home. "
  • rocklasvegas
"I live here in Laughlin. Its a great town for retirees although the healthcare is terrible like Vegas or worse. Other than that, its a nice place to live. Not much crime or traffic. Low elevation (504 ft) good for people with breathing problems. The summers are HOT but hot is hot and your not going outside anyways so it doesnt matter if its 110 or 128. It was 128 a week straight here last summer but goes down to 90 at night. Its hot from about noon to 8pm then its nice. Theres about 10 casinos on the river and theres a river walk and boat taxis that take you from casino to casino. Theres a couple poker rooms (Riverside & Colorado Belle) great place to visit or live. I came here on vacation and fell in love with it and moved here. If it wasnt for the fake doctors I would stay forever. "
  • stevenf250
"The Vistas is a really nice community, the grounds here are park-like, the people here are very friendly and the staff is super helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They have a great fitness center, 3 pools, and coffee and danish and great company every morning in the community room. We love it here, we came for Winter, but I think we'll just stay forever!"
  • Suegerenrealestate
"This is a lovely single level townhome with large community swimming pool, spa, and horseshoe area. Immediate occupany, unit is clean. All it needs is the new owners personal touch. Some carpet in living room and bedrooms, condition is slightly worn."
